Required to wear the compression band and question!

WORTH IT$9,000
At my first post op appt, my PS recommend I start wearing the breast compression band and man……I hate this thing lol. I was basically off all my pain meds but having to wear this all day and night has increased the pain and soreness I feel. I’m not taking meds every 4 hours like I was, but at least 3 times a day. Waking up in the morning is the WORST. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m lying flat all night but it’s the most painful in the morning. I’m hoping I’ll adjust quick since it has only been 3 days. No photos since my breasts look the same since the last update, but I did start using the silicone tape last night. I’m gonna order some silicone gel/cream too but wanted to see if anyone has a brand they recommend?
Thanks!

Are you having more pain on one breast more than the other?
The soreness I was experiencing felt balanced between both breasts towards the bottom/lower ribcage. What I think was happening is the breast band was pushing my breasts down into the breast pockets and stretching, which made me feel sore. My doctor asked me to wear it
"23 1/2 hours everyday" so waking up from sleeping in it was rough some mornings. Pain as resolved for the most part.

What made you choose the highly cohesive? I am in between highly cohesive and the soft, touch ones I have surgery with Dr. Ehret in a couple weeks and I’m getting very nervous as I have little kids and am worried about pain and being able to care for them. Did you get subglandular or under muscle? Yours look great
It’s not a perfect solution but as a fellow band-hater, if I wake up before my alarm I’ll take a Tylenol half asleep. That way when I actually wake up for the day I feel much better.

Should’ve went bigger. Pay all that money minus we’ll have went a little bigger.

Week post-op + pictures

So I am about a week post-op from my breast augmentation surgery. The first few days I needed to take my narcotics and muscle relaxer every 4 hours to be comfortable and slept majority of the time. I have slowly cut down to only taking them once a day and once before bed. I am sore throughout the day but it isn’t terrible. Maybe a 3-4/10 on the pain scale. It’s more so uncomfortable from the compression bra and my breasts are starting to feel tight. When I bend over however, I get this weird burning pain in my left nipple even though they’re both still numb. I’d say the worst part is I’m crazy bored and ready to get out of the house and do things. I pole dance about 3 times a week and take choreo classes 1-2 times a week so having to sit and heal has been hard mentally. My first post-op appt is later today and I’m hoping to hear I can start to do more.
I’ve included some photos below but I don’t feel much has changed in the past week nor did I expect any, but I know looking at result pictures helped me in the planning process. I also tried on some “fun” stuff to get a better idea of what I may look like. I’ll include some stills from the videos I took. :)

Day 2 post op + pictures

So I am about 48 hours after surgery and doing well. The first day I barely had any pain because I was numb majority of the day, but in the middle of the night I woke up due to the pain. Nothing crazy but made it hard to sleep. I’ve been taking my pain pills every 4 hours and that’s helped immensely. My nipples are still numb which is such a weird sensation. I have been able to eat and have not experienced any nausea, however I am crazy itchy. Looking forward to when I can shower. I’ve included before and after pictures but I apologize in advance for the before ones because I completely forgot to take them. So the before photos I have are not great. Underbust is 28in but I’ve been wearing 32 a bras (which were still a little too big). I’m waiting to do measurements on my current size until the swelling goes down. Feel free to ask any questions!
