Pre-breastfeeding I was a small 34D and very happy with my size. After breastfeeding 4 babies they were droopy and sad! After breastfeeding I was frustrated with what was left. Pre-op pics show a little asymmetry which came post breastfeeding. Pre-op size was a small 34b-c.
Based on the reviews on here I decided to go with Dr. Ciresi at Athenix in Fresno, CA.

Day of surgery:
Surgery went well and was overall pretty quick. I accidentally ate a piece of watermelon when I was packing my kids’ lunches in the morning. I was afraid I’d have to delay surgery but the anesthesiologist decided to intubate me as a precaution and they proceeded as scheduled. The watermelon stayed down and thankfully there were no issues. I did start to panic in the OR and told everyone to move away from the bed so I could leave lol! The next thing I knew I woke up and it was over. The incision is around my areola which I was unsure of at first but I decided to let my PS make that call. I had liked the sizers of 375-400. My PS advised me to go larger. I was super apprehensive before surgery and said I don’t want to wake up too big. I showed him 2 pictures of my wish boobs and we agreed that he would do the size that would give me my wish boobs. I ended up with 485 in my right and 450 in my left due to asymmetry that I started with. Those numbers totally freaked me out! I’m waiting to see if they end up bigger than I wanted, only time will tell. I will be very frustrated if they’re too big.
Post op day 1:
I slept really well in a recliner with a neck pillow and pillows under my arms. I took a sleeping pill and muscle relaxer before bed and slept great. I woke up stiff and sore but not unbearable. The most pain is in my sternum. It’s really painful to take a deep breath. As the morning went on I started to itch uncontrollably. In no time at all I developed hives and was acting crazy because the itching was so intense. I called my PS and the nurse advised me to continue pain pills and take Benadryl. I took the Benadryl but discontinued the pain pills. I started taking Alleve which isn’t advised but it worked to control my pain. At my post op visit my PS acknowledged the mistake made by the nurse and took responsibility for the poor advice.
Post op day 3:
Today the bandages were removed and I got my first look at my new boobs! (See pictures posted) They seem really big but I was pleased to see no bruising and I’m happy with the initial shape. I’m still concerned that they are bigger than I wanted but I will wait several months to decide.
Post op day 4:
I slept pretty well last night but my tailbone is starting to hate the recliner so I will move to my bed tonight. Today is noticeably a much better day. I feel up to driving and can move much more. I’m not a fan of the post surgical bra my PS provided so my mom went to Walmart to find an alternative, see pictures posted in the white bra. For 24 hours now I’ve only taken 1 Alleve and 2 ibuprofen. I’m done with everything else. I also have been taking Arnica and Turmeric Curcumin to aid in relief of swelling and bruising. I think it’s made a big difference and helped a lot.

Dont worry about them being too big bella. I have 450s at first i thought they were huge but almost a year later im wishing i had gone bigger. Everyone talks about them getting bigger with drop and fluff but i was the opposite. Mind you i have lost too much weight since my surgery so that may have something to do with it. I find my 450s really arent all that big and mine look pretty darn real. So dont panick about the size in a year they will look completly different

That makes me feel A LOT better! I just want them to look real and I’m afraid they just look so big. I’m eager to get to the 3-6 month mark to know where they’ll settle. Thanks for the hope

I agree. I have 485 cc SCF (smooth cohesive full profile) and I am 5'6", 105 lbs, with BWD of 11.5 cm. I feel that the 485 cc look totally normal on my body and not big at all. I am a professional woman and would not have wanted to be enormous. And, for whatever it's worth, I think yours do not look too big at this point. I bet in a few months you will be happy!

I think you’re right! I’m responding to your comment now and I’m on day 9 and I’m really happy. I think I was paranoid because the ultimate size choice was in my doctor’s hands during the operation and I was terrified they would be huge. Now that I’ve had over a week to get used to them I’m realizing that this is a great size for me. I’m going to look now to see your photos if you did a review

I am so glad you are feeling better! It’s an adjustment period; totally normal. I didn’t post pictures of me because I am a professional woman, but I might change my mind on that if it would be helpful for other people. Again, I think you look great!

So I’m definitely starting to feel better about my size. I’m still eager to see where they settle after a few months but I’m no longer so worried that they’re too big for my body. I’m very happy with the shape and feel like they look natural under shirts.
I’m not taking pain meds and haven’t been for several days. I still take Arnica and turmeric Curcumin for bruising and swelling. While I don’t have pain, I do still have discomfort and feel limited in some activities. I’m a stomach sleeper so sleeping on my back is no fun. I find that putting pillows on both sides of my body ensures I won’t fall in a deep sleep and roll over on my belly. Driving a car isn’t a problem but pushing and pulling to open doors is no fun. I can’t stress enough how important having a very attentive caregiver is. My mom has tended to me and the needs of my family so I can rest and not overdo it. I couldn’t have done this without her.
The stitches get removed on Thursday. I’ll post an update pic then. All in all at 7 days post op, I’m surprised at how normal and functional I feel. I’ve gone to Halloween parties with my kids and not had to let on to anyone that I just had surgery. Although when I come home I just want to sit and not do anything ????
