WORTH IT
After a few consultations based primarily on real self reviews, I ended up going with Dr. G. I liked his results, his general approach, and was looking for someone who was comfortable and experienced with shaped implants. I never really felt pressured by him to go with a certain type of implant or size (unlike some doctors I visited), but he has informed me of the benefits and risks and made suggestions based on his opinion. I also have always enjoyed the experience with his office and especially his nurse, Eva!

Just like so many of you, I have spent countless hours on Real Self combing through photos, reading questions and answers, and scouring the site for reviews from ladies with similar stats looking for similar results. On the eve of my own surgery, I am here to share.
I would like to pay it forward and finally contribute to this site in the hopes of helping others, but also selfishly, I have long since exhausted the interests of my friends who almost universally seem only to be concerned that I "dont go too big".
I have wanted a more proportionate look since my natural boobs stopped growing (well before I expected them to) at about age 13. After a few consultations and putting my deposit down nearly a year ago (aka an eternity), I am very ready to be on the other side - to ditch the padded bra I have been wearing at the office for a year, to be able to buy swimsuits, tops, and bras again, and to satisfy this nearly lifelong preoccupation with what life could be like with bigger boobs. What can I say - I have always been the curious, must-try-it-all type.
Nervousness and general anxiety are pretty low at the present. I think I'm really just ready. I'm 5'5", usually somewhere between 130-135 lbs, and expecting 350 or 400 cc sientra shaped implants. Will let you know on the flip side what I end up with. :)

Hi! Greetings from the other side. Feeling moderate pain at the moment. Just woke up and feeling infinitely more "with it" than I expected. She said I'd be more sore tomorrow.
Got 370 round base sientra shaped.
Mom is so on top of my medicines and I'm so thankful. Pics to come.
