Sorry it’s been a minute. Things have been going well- incisions stopped with the aching/sore feeling around week 4. Also the side that was riding a bit high dropped around week 4/5. Started “spitting sutures” around week 3/4 but that’s all gone now and it was only 2 which I had my husband clip off with nail clippers.
I still am completely numb below the nipple on the lower pole of both breasts. I won’t be bothered if feeling never returns, my nipples and above and on the sides have full sensitivity again so the bottom is only strange when I intentionally feel around.
I sometimes wonder if I should have gone larger for a wider diameter to further fill my breast envelope, but that’s me nitpicking because I really am happy with them. They look and feel so natural to me that I feel like I’ve always had them and even forget what I had before, until my husband shows me an old picture pre-op and I’m like WHOA! I was flat and saggy simultaneously.
Scars are pretty dark looking but very flat and smooth at this point and I stopped taping them at 5 weeks. My surgeon didn’t recommend any further prophylactics or scar treatment other than time and I officially got the green light to swim and work out again.
Not sure I’ll continue to update at this point but I’m happy to answer any questions anyone might have!

A week and a half out and I feel great. A bit of soreness in the left incision still, but all feeling is returned to nipples and lower pole. Even heightened sensitivity of nipples I’d say- almost sunburn feeling at the end of the day if material is rubbing too much.

OMG. I’m literally taking your picture to my PS (sorry if that’s creepy). You are literally my body goals! They are perfect and I’m so happy for you! They look amazing in your tops. My husband would be doing backflips if I came out of my MM looking like that. Keep it up girl, smoking hot!

How did you come to a decision on size/shape? What benefits have you already seen after the surgery besides looking perfect???

Omg thank you! Honestly I just went to my PS and told him my goals and he guided me from there. He decided on the profile, shape, material, and placement (Subfascial, over the muscle.)
He ordered a range of sizes from 350 to 440- but I was persistent that I not wind up bigger than pre-op. I was just aiming to fill back in my deflated boobs so they wouldn’t fall out of the clothes I wore anymore, and I was much more afraid of ending up too big than too small. In the OR my PS decided the size.
I just feel so much more proportionate now, I can wear bra tops comfortably again, but mostly love being naked and not feeling the need to cover up in front of my husband all the time!!
I could use a mini TT as well, I might go back for that in the future!

Also, I intended on going for anatomical shaped implants but my PS said he preferred round as anatomical can flip. He also preferred smooth implants vs textured due to small increased risk for cancer with texture. Memory gel silicone for a more natural look and feel than saline. I do feel he presented me with many options but heard my desire to be full and natural looking and ultimately I trusted him with all the specifics

Recently turned 40 and doing this for myself as a birthday present. Wonderful and supportive husband and 2 kids. I was a full C and now deflated B. I knew all along I wanted a TT due to lost baby weight and a lot of exercise. For the longest time I was just scared of implants. My PS surgeon suggested I just start with the TT and wait on the results then decide on the breasts. I think I’d rather just get it all out of the way at once. Posts like yours have convinced me not to be afraid of implants and that I ultimately just want to look sexy. In the back of my mind I know that’s not going to happen without implants. I’m very much like you, I just want all my volume back like they were in my 20s. I’ve set up an appointment to go back in and get a consult for the full MM. I can’t wait to get sized now! I’m thinking 350-400 will do the trick. You started off with much larger boobs than me! I would swap you for them in a heartbeat! Can’t wait to see your journey progress. Can’t believe I didn’t see your post until now considering all the hours of research I’ve put in on this site. The one question I have is, when I get my stomach and waist shrunk down, will my boobs accentuate and project better than they do now just naturally.

Try the Natrelle app, you can have your husband snap some pics of your current boobs and then it creates a rendering of what they’d look like with implants. This before and after was what convinced me to go for it! I was like Omg I didn’t realize how saggy I was until I see a pic of me with actual boobs again! Not just skin sacks. Hahaha

Oh also, if you haven’t tried to DIY rice sizers, definitely do that! Wear them in your bra around your house, it’ll give you a great idea of what size range you’d like to be in before you start obsessing over cc’s like so many of us do haha
I thought 440 would be way too big, but now that I’m out with 405, though I’m happy with the size, I do feel like I could have gone a little bigger and been okay still.

I’m one month post op today, incisions stopped aching about one week ago. Not much else to report! I feel I could have gone bigger than I did but overall happy with the look as they look extremely natural. I think the size I started with hides the implants very well. Good luck to you if you decide to proceed with augmentation!

Follow up went well, PS said the high side should drop with time. It looks better today, maybe she’s finally working her way down into the pocket a bit more.
Again, just so happy with the size. I’ll add photos in a sports bra in case anyone finds it helpful- in my “boob research” I feel like they always look much bigger naked than they do clothed!

I would encourage you to try the crisalex or Natrelle apps on your phone- you can upload your “before” photos and it creates a digital rendering of your prospective outcome with implants. That was a big first step for me to see how much better they could look if I had the procedure done.
It hasn’t been two weeks yet since my procedure so I’m not participating in sports or running. But my doctor offered me different options for implant fill based on my ideals- I wanted them to look and feel as natural as possible, so we went with silicone memory gel. I know that saline overfilled gives a much firmer feel.
