Day of treatment

Surgery day!!!

Got my surgery this morning! Arrived at 7:45, was prepped by 8:30 but the person ahead of me apparently had issues with prep so surgeon was behind. They finally came to bring me back to OR at 9:45.

Woke up feeling like a person was sitting on my chest haha- nurse gave me some pain killers and took care of it. Currently have no pain, very very mild soreness. Am able to grab water, eat, and use bathroom with no issues at all.

Took a sneak peek at the girls and I’m already in love!! They are not square or up in my collar bone- maybe it’s because I went with a smaller implant or swelling hasn’t fully developed? They are sitting kind of far apart- not sure if it’s my anatomy or just the immediate pre-op and they’ll change? I mean I know they’ll change over the next few weeks / months but not sure if gap will if that makes sense.

Anyways- super happy so far! Going to stay ahead of pain and set alarms for meds. Post op appointment is 1/31. Will update them!

9 days until Surgery!

Down in the single digits!

I’ve been so up and down lately it’s crazy. Some days I’m so excited and confident in my choice and others I’m completely freaking out that I’m actually doing it.

I think the main worry right now is questioning the size I picked- 255 mod+. I’m so worried it won’t be enough- but during my pre-op I liked how it looked and felt perfect. And I keep telling myself that my main goal was to get to a full B / small C and look natural but fill out swimsuits and bras.

I’ve been getting everything prepped. Picked up my prescriptions, got a pill case for them cause wasn’t sure I’d be able to open the bottles. Making sure I have a robe, zip up hoodies / button up shirts, and comfy sweats / leggings. Ordered post op bras so I have a few extras- also considering ordering compression socks. Going to prep some meals and freeze them. Make sure laundry is done and gonna do a deep clean of the house this weekend.

Am I missing anything?

What's your weight and height? You could easily go to 325/350cc and still look natural.
I’m 5’4” and 115lbs. Per my surgeon 350 would have put me at a D cup and I don’t want to go bigger than a full B / small C. I tried on 300’s and the just felt / looked huge and so I chose 250 which I liked the look of. Just so hard to know how they’ll actually look!
Yeah at 115lbs you would be in the petite range in the UK, so 350cc might big on you. You can search reviews by implants size so that might help a little.
Stay small it will look more natural in your frame

Pre-Op appointment- picked my implant size!

Wanted to post an update… had my pre-op appointment today. Probably spent a good 30-40min debating final size. Tried sizes on with the surgical bra and a really tight sports bra I brought to compress them. I had stated before I was thinking 250-300cc.

The 300’s looked huge to me- I want a pretty conservative augmentation- goal is to be full B / small C. Was debating between 250/275…. The difference was so subtle but decided to be cautious and do 250. Doc took my measurements and looked at size chart- size will be 255 mod plus profile.

So excited! I forgot to take pics at docs with sizers but added pics I took with my rice sizers- these look the same size as sizers at docs.

25 days to go! Beyond nervous but also excited.

I had my surgery Today! Chosen size was 250cc low plus. When I got out of surgery, I found out he used 280 in one and 235 in the other. I go for my post op Tomm so I will see how that came about.

I will keep you posted throughout my recovery. :)
How are you feeling? Do they feel huge? Def keep me posted :)
Actually not at all. But I need to give them time because the 235cc is actually bigger than the 280cc right now. I have to let them settle into place. My suggestion, let the doctor decide during surgery. He told me when he put 250cc in both there was a huge difference so he switched out the sizes.
Oh wow that’s good your Doc switched during surgery. Did you have slight asymmetry that was noticed before surgery?

My doctor spent a good amount of time measuring me and looking at the implant size chart to get the best fit- obviously internal anatomy can alter how they look. He said during surgery he will sit me up to make sure they are symmetrical- so I guess if not he will change it out.

I’m feeling a little less nervous after my pre-op but I’m sure I’ll get more nervous closer to my surgery. I think right now my biggest concern is not being able to pick up my 16mo son for a few weeks.

So glad you don’t have discomfort- hope your recovery goes smoothly! Do you have a post where you put pics? Curious to see how yours turned out!
I have a 3 year old and 5 year old. It’s so hard not to pick them up. :( I can’t wait till I can do that again. Other than that, the doctor thought my tissue was pretty even before hand but one they were in, he said it was a noticeable difference. I trust his judgement.

No pics online. But I’ll be in touch with my progress. For now they are high and tight. He gave me a band to wear over the upper part of my chest.

When is your new date?
Surgery date is January 21! About 3 weeks out. Got my prescriptions filled and just need to get my lab work done. Kind of freaking out that I’m actually doing this…. And trying to practice sleeping on my back because I’m a stomach sleeper.

Is there a post surgical bra your using other than what they provided you? I was thinking of getting a few extras for when I need to wash one.
They wrapped me up the day of surgery. I’m currently still wearing it but once I shower today (48 hours after surgery) I can put a sports bra on. I bought them from my doctors office yesterday at my post op appointment. He also gave me a band to wear around the top part of my chest to help the implants drop. I’ll be wearing this for a couple weeks.
