1 week post op!
And it felt like the longest week of my life!
Got my stitches out today and the nurse said they are healing very well. The right is definitely still more swollen than the left, it feels a lot higher up. The left feels like it has dropped and starting to have more of a boob shape. Not too concerned about this as I know they can heal at different rates.
I am still worried about the gap between them and really stressed it won’t close but I’ve been religiously wearing the bra and breast band so hoping that helps.
Feel a lot more mobile now and have been going on short walks - so nice to get my body moving again but definitely missing running and going to the gym. The surgeon said 3 weeks for running during our initial consultation (recovery dependant), but I will definitely be waiting longer than that as don’t want anything to go wrong!
I’ve attached some pics including the scars which are partially covered with surgical tape (it is pen underneath my boob not a vein!) They still don’t look like real boobs but I do see some improvements. Very happy with the size it is just the placement that is my biggest concern. They look great under a vest with no bra but I am definitely not obsessed with how they look on their own.

Day 4
So I braved it and had a quick peek at them… really telling myself to trust the process as the gap between them feels huge and I am hoping to see more definition soon - they are still very coney.
The size feels ok, although I am hoping they will feel fuller once they have dropped - they don’t feel that big, which is crazy because when I tried on the 220 cc during consultation they felt huge on me! Very happy he didn’t go with 190 like I originally wanted.
I am continuing to wear the bra and breast band in the hope that this will encourage them to drop and move closer together.
They are not as painful and today is the first day I feel more like myself, although the itching is horrendous!!! Everywhere is itchy, particularly around the area where my incisions are - it’s so hard to ignore and the bra is making it so much worse. I have taken a hayfever tablet but this hasn’t helped much… praying it will calm down as it’s really hard to focus on anything other than the itching.
Trying to stay positive and tell myself that they won’t look like this forever!

Day 3 Post Op
Breast op was on Thursday - it all went well and thankfully I didn’t suffer with the nausea that a lot of people have from the anaesthesia. I am still in quite a lot of pain and discomfort, really hard sleeping up right and keep having an itching sensation where the stitches are. Have been resting and sleeping a lot but trying to walk around the house to keep my movement up. Have to keep the compression socks on for a week which really is a look!
Surgeon went with 220 cc moderate profile - he tried the 190 on during surgery and these didn’t suit my frame so opted for the bigger size which I am happy about.
I haven’t properly looked at my breasts because honestly I am pretty terrified of how they will look at the moment, but they feel very coney and so far apart which is really stressing me out! I told the surgeon that I wanted a really natural look and didn’t want them too close together and I think he may have taken this to the extreme? Although, I have read that they appear further apart before the drop and fluff process and I am really really hoping they will drop closer together…
They also don’t feel very big and I am almost wishing I went bigger??!
Not sure if it is still the effects of the anaesthesia still wearing off, but I feel pretty depressed about the whole thing and terrified that they are going to look awful and I will have to get them removed.
My post op appointment is next Thursday where they will hopefully remove bandages and take the stitches out - I don’t think I will properly look until then.
I will upload some proper pics as soon as I can but have attached some in a bra - you can’t tell much but tried to show the gap between them when bending over. I have been wearing the breast band constantly as hoping this might encourage them to drop and move closer together… we shall see!
