Symmastia
I saw my PS regarding the issue of the narrow space in between my boobs and the fact that the skin seems lifted off the sternum (I can press down on it). Every time I brought it up at my one week and 3 month check up, he always disregarded it. But when I requested a 6 month follow up regarding the issue cause it bothered me still and I know something was not right (lmao read every single one of my updates, I complained about it in every one), he FINALLY addressed I had symmastia. He said it was “unpredictable” and that my only option would be to accept it and live with it. And instead of taking any responsibility he basically something like “plastic surgery isn’t perfect it’s still fake boobs at the end of the day so they’re not gonna be perfect or how you envisioned them to be” and “the result is still great because look at what u started off with”. I get it, nothing is perfect, but that’s why there exists the plastic surgery industry. So you can pay 9k for a new body you’d be happy with, not one that makes you still feel self conscious. Anyways I went to another Surgeon in Toronto for a second opinion and he too confirmed I have symmastia. He says that fixing this is incredible difficult and expensive and that it is a very rare complication and when it does happen it’s due to surgical error (over dissecting the muscle) or whatever!!! So he said it was my surgeons fault. -.- which irks me even more cuz my PS wouldn’t admit it. He said if I inserted mesh in a revision surgery but kept the implants in, there’s a chance the repair would most likely fail. He recommended I go back to my original PS, ask him to remove my implants, suture down the midline, wait 6 months, and then do a second breast augmentation. But when I saw my PS, he said he wouldn’t recommend trying to fix it...... plus the time I’d have to take off for that would be impossible. ???? anyways it’s kinda sad to pay 9k and end up with a rare complication that could’ve been prevented if I went to someone else. It really sucks. But what can I do. #regrets
6 months
Soooo I’m 6 months post op! So I don’t think any more changes are going to occur. TBH I think boobs will look like their end result at 3 months, I’d say!
Hahaha every update I’m always talking about the space between my boobs and I always alternate been accepting them and then being sad about them. LOL. It’s a never ending battle! For example, when I see models on Instagram (with natural boobs) and see that their cleavage is so nice, I can’t help but feel a little sad since mine are augmented and cost 8000 dollars and they still don’t look half as good as theirs. Anyways hopefully I’ll fully accept them 100 percent one day. I still haven’t asked my dr about it again (it’s hard for me due to my schedule and location) but pretty sure in order to change it I’ll have to do another surgery to fix it. I don’t hate it enough to think about doing another surgery (yet). Im just gonna be thankful that They have improved my confidence, I’m having no complications (like capsular contraction) and that I’m still happy with the size I chose!

Three months Appt. and thoughts
I think I write a little too much!! but maybe there’s people out there in the world like me who like *lots* of details and pics LOL.
- they feel really soft and squishy now (I included a video to show. Ps that water sound is coming from a fish tank! It’s not somebody pissing! Hahah)
- the “tenting” between my boobs isn’t rly noticeable to me now. It bothered me SO MUCH BEFORE!!!! I asked my dr about it today and he said it was because my skin was rly tight to begin with. Makes sense since I’m like a size 0 and never had any children/breastfed. Anyway the skin has stretched since my prev posts and He said it Should improve even more over time.
- I also used to be really insecure w the closeness/small space between. Because most natural boobs are wide set. Thus in a low cut dress, my boobs look a little fake to me.
For wider set boobs, their cleavage in a bra will look like there’s a space in between like ( )( ) And then there’s close set boobs where in a bra, the cleavage will look like
this: 3 . I just happen to like the first type of cleavage better. So yeah, for those who haven’t had surgery yet, Keep in mind your result might not necessarily look like your “goals” cuz it also depends on your anatomy! But yah I’d also bring this up with your doctor because I feel like they might be able to customize the right implant to help you achieve the cleavage look you desire. I didn’t really mention this at my consult cuz I didn’t know the difference LOL. Anyways it’s okay bc I’ve grown to like how my boobs look!
- okay so when I’m looking in the mirror I do not think they look asymmetrical. BUT THE MINUTE I TAKE A PIC OF IT it’s super noticeable to me how my left boob nipple is aligned/pointing higher! Anyways the dr says it’s obvious to myself and noticible to him since he’s a PS but that it wouldn’t be *THAT* noticeable to others. I hope that’s true. IS IT RLY Asymmetrical LOOKING TO YOU GUYS? Anyways...nothing in life can be identical. Boobs are like brows. As much as u want them to be twins, they are gonna be sisters. LOL. Anyway, even if it IS rly noticeable to everyone else, I wouldn’t want to go through the hassle of another surgery anyways. Also maybe I just need to stop taking pictures!! Haha. Since looking at them in the mirror doesn’t bother me, it’s just looking at the pictures!
- round implants can LOOK natural. The slide profile looks pretty damn good to me. There’s a slope and it doesn’t look like a ball. If you’re starting flat like me with AA, don’t be afraid to go up to 300cc. 275cc Looks *super natural in clothes*. Nobody I meet will suspect I got a boob job. I like that.
- okay what else. Umm. Yeah. I talk way too much. Anyways next update will prob be 6 months to a year!
