Surgery Day!!!!
I arrived at 630 and talked to the nurse and doctor some more, took my pictures, and got my IV in my arm. When they put my IV in I turned white as a ghost and saw stars. Had to get a rag on my head and lean back for a minute. Lack of food and that little bit of blood being drawn when they put it in was a bad combination, I always get light headed when getting blood drawn. Doctor came in and marked me then I was ready to go! I walked back into surgery room and laid on the bed. They had it warmed up and cozy for me. Put the compression things on my legs. Then before i knew it, I was asleep. Dr. Choucair and his staff were so great from start to finish. When I woke up I had boobs! I got 450 cc mentor silicone gel under the muscle. I had to have regular stitches since my skin was so tight. Currently wearing a band on top and nothing else. Ride home was ok, still felt kinda sick from anesthesia but wasn’t really nausea just felt yucky. Got home and slept an hour or two and when I woke up that feeling had subsided and I felt much better (wasn’t terrible to begin with I just feel way better now). Woke up and ate ALOT of chick fil a, I was starving.
Tomorrow I can take a shower and put a sports bra on or continue to wear my strap if I think I want to be more lowered. Doctor said he will call me tonight to check in and even gave me his cell phone number if I had any questions. So far so good! Feeling ok! Staying on top of my medicine and icing. All in all I highly recommend Dr. Choucair. Wonderful experience so far! Posting a picture. The marks give the illusion one of them is wonky but it’s my pre surgery mark it’s not actually are the implant is ????

Day 1
First night went good. Set my alarms to take my meds. Little stiff this morning and they are rock hard but all and all pretty good! Thinking of stoping the pain pills and switching to Tylenol today and continuing with the Valium for my muscles. Been icing on and off regularly. Doctor told me I can take my strap off today and wear a sports bra or wear the strap a little longer if I want them pushed down some more. I’m pleasantly surprised I don’t hav the boxy frankenboobs I feared I would, they really look great for day 1 in my opinion! Doctor Choucair called and checked on me last night and said he would call again today. No regrets at all be loving them!
