So it’s been a little while, thought an update was due! Can’t believe 9 months have passed. Still happy I did it. The feeling in my right is totally back to normal but the left isn’t just yet. The nipple is sometimes hypersensitive while other times it’s numb! But it’s fine, I’m used to it.
Hope you ladies are well ;)

Thank you for ur update! I’m booked with him on 23 dec which is coming very very soon.aiming for a moderate result. Which brand of implants did you use?
Oh wow, you're in great hands! Dr Skoll is amazing. I got Motiva and am v happy with how they feel. Which brand did you choose?
Thank you! I also felt very confident with my choice of the surgent, I liked the fact that he was very realistic with what I must expect. I decided on mentor smooth implant. Did you get used to the implants? I’m sure you get so many Compliments especially With this nice weather in Capetown lol
Haha well actually no one even knows I had anything done! totally used to them by now, I think after about 5-6 months I really didn't notice them anymore. How are you getting on?
And I forgot to say- your breast looks amazing, very natural and sexy
Hello there it looks soo gorgeous! I just got mine 315cc wish i had gone bigger but dr advice to go for 315cc instead! Hope mine will fluff soon!
Thx:) when did you have surgery? sure they will grow on you! I went with my doctors advice on size too and glad I did. Give it time
Your breast are gorgeous! What made you decide to go over the muscle vs under? It seems the general consensus by the Drs on this site are going under.
Thanks:) I went with overs because my doctor said I had enough breast tissue to do so. Also because I didn't want to have any animation deformity which can be pretty likely with going under, and I didn't like the idea of having my muscles cut. Even though it's still surgery I wanted to minimize the amount of cutting/trauma. The recovery time is also much shorter as the surgery is easier and not as taxing
Definitely have to do more research. I thought going under made them look more natural but guess I'm wrong if you went over. Yours look absolutely perfect!
Me too. ecobourn. Sunshine. My third surgery the ps put them under and didn't tell me. I have problems with one of them which fall completely into my arm pit when laying down. To tell you honestly when I say your pre photos I thought they were after shots which show how beautiful breasts you had to begin with. I'm afraid to read more to find your PS is in europe or someplace to difficult for me to go. Your results are really in my top 3 favs of all time. Just gorgeous. Are they soft. That was the one advantage of going under the muscle. Very painful at age 58 and having overs for the first 2 sets. The under are extremely soft and natural. My 1st 2 surgery I had severe contractures and they felt like tennis balls but looked pretty. At age 70 now I'm really thinking hard about what step to take. I'm pretty much alone. My husband passed away 6 days after my last surgery in 2008 , which I had to do due to leakage. I hate the one in my armpit. It's impossible to find a bra that fits and one breast is a d- the other in the armpit is at least 100cc bigger so I have to get stretchy bras and pad one side. Anyway your breasts before and after are absolutely dreamy. I'm so happy for you to have such fabulous results. Another positive about your placement is that you probably didn't;t need those drainage bulbs. My 1st 2 surgery incisions were under the breast in the crease. the 3rd were put in through the areoles and he reduced the size of those during surgery. Best wishes to you and I think if I go ahead I would have the incisions under the breast rather than through the areoles. It seems easier on the breast tissue to me IMO not to squeeze such a big bag into such tiny incision. Thanks so much for your input and sharing your experience with us. Best wishes to you.
Hi pjpuff, so sorry I'm responding late. Thanks for your kind words. The notifications on this app are really weird, so I missed this. If you have one implant falling to the side when you lie down, maybe you need the pocket to be repaired rather than having anything "re-done". You might have gone to a PS by now and have a solution, but just a thought. I do hope you manage to get it sorted. My surgeon is in South Africa, but I bet you have top quality surgeons wherever you are! Everything is going okay with me, I'm over 1.5 years post-op and I can't believe it how time flies!! Best wishes to you as well

3 months and a few weeks after

Just a quick update, about 14 weeks now. Still slightly numb on bottoms but getting better. Nipples have sensitivity although the left still isn’t fully back to normal yet. Scars look good, can’t even see them as they’re in the crease so I rarely even look! That’s pretty much it for now. Hope you ladies are fab x

Looking awesome, but I've been telling you this since day one!
Awe thank you! I’m used to them now, thank god lol. How are you doing?
Wow love them!
Thank you! X
Your welcome. Enjoy your new boobs :)
Happy to hear that nipple sensitivity is coming back. Within a couple of months it should be back to normal hopefully. How's the squishiness coming along?
The squishiness is pretty good. I wouldn’t say they feel like real breasts bc I remember how mine felt before, but it doesn’t bother me at all. They’re soft and bouncy :) For whatever reason it took me over 3 months to not feel sore when I squeeze them, and it still does a bit, so I’m guessing the numbness will be the same. A slow process but totally manageable x
Gorgeous results! Thanks for the update. :)
They look perfect. Congratulations!

9 weeks

Hi girls! Now as I’m up on 9 weeks, I’ve had some time to ‘get used to’ them in a way.
Still numb on the bottoms, maybe not as much as initially, but yea still there. I know there’s a good while yet before things settle and the nerves get closer to normal, although the nipple hyper sensitivity is getting proper old! Not gonna lie. They continue to be a bit tight in the mornings but I’m used to it so not too fussed.
As I’m thinking back, I remember why I wanted this. And those points were / are valid. Before i did it, my PS said three things were essential before having this surgery .. 1) realistic exceptions - check 2) mentally stable - check (well, we all have our moments, amiright? Haha) 3) it has to bother you enough to change it - hmmm... that answer I didn’t hit out of the park. I never disliked my previous boobs, and always liked the shape, so it wasn’t that I felt I needed to “fix” anything. If I didn’t do it, I might have wondered what if, why not try it etc... I’m stubborn like that LOL. But, was it necessary for my self-confidence? No. Did I think it would help me feel a little more confident? Yes. I evidently wanted it “enough” as I did it.... however isn’t natural also beautiful? We’re all so different and that’s special. There’s no prescription for perfection because thankfully, it doesn’t exist and I’m glad! What a boring world it would be if we acted the same, did things for the same reason, looked and thought the same. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still happy with my decision. No matter how long I decide to keep these, no doubt I will have learned something from this experience.. And I believe its always good to be present to your feelings, and your mind.
Anyhoo, enough of my musings for one evening ;) Have a fab week, fierce women. X

I think on ur left boob I think your nipple is more off center and then you're right
Yes, and..? Doesn’t bother me at all.
Independent 1515, what the hell?!
I know, right? Some people only have negative things to say. Not going down that rabbit hole. Tagebo my dear, how are you? Been ages!
I'm doing great, love my boobies! Much softer and dropping nicely. My nipples are off center too @independent1515 Haha
Nipple sensitivity is decreasing, bottoms are still somewhat numb. SunshineGabs, you look amazing, don't pay attention to negative crap!
Thanks lovely, you look amazing too! And cheers to sensitivity decreasing. Can’t wait til that’s back to normal! Xx
I agree Sunshine. Like eyebrows they are more like cousins than twin sisters.
I’m glad u r happy and can ignore the haters. Thank you for sharing your story. I think u look great. ❤️
Thank you ❤️ I’m happy to see you’ve had a successful revision surgery. You look great as well :)
Every time your opening shot appears on my feed, ever since day one, at first glance it looks like a modelling shot of a hot chick with her boobs out, wearing sparkle jewellery with a denim/fashion shirt open! Or is it just me?? Looking fantastic :) x
Awww thanks so much lovely! That’s so sweet. And sorry I’m just getting to this now. How are you doing? It’s been over three months now, no?! Crazy how time flies!
SunshineGabs thank you for posting your journey! Your BA looks amazing & natural! How are you feeling now? All of your pictures are great. Thank you again for sharing!
Thank you! I feel good. Still just a slight bit numb on the bottoms, one side more than the other, but it is getting better slowly. Recovery is a process, but the good thing you’re not so aware of it after a few months passes, thankfully:)
Yes, recovery is definitely a process! As time passes, my advice would be to please make sure to try and not to over exert yourself, even if you feel 100% back to yourself. Of course, I am not a doctor & your doctor and providers know what is best for you. I try to help by sharing when a handful of friends began to resume pre surgery activities, strenuous working outs, using heavy weights or equipment for their chest muscles and they regretted not waiting. They felt as if their implants lowered or dropped sooner than naturally. I don’t know anything about you & I live in the US but I just wanted to share, even if the info can help one person who reads this comment.
Thanks for the tip! I agree with you. It hasn’t felt “right” to run or really workout my upper body, so I haven’t, even though I’m at 14 weeks. I do hike a few times a week and that’s intense although it’s mainly my leg and butt muscles in use. My PS is cool with cardio after 6 weeks, and all has been good so far :)
Great! I’m happy for you all the way from the USA!
