WORTH IT$4,500
I am a 47 year old with 5 kids. I breastfed 3 of my children. I am a 36 B. I have thought about implants since I was in my 20's but never really believed I would be able to go through with it. Last year, I started a weight loss journey and have lost almost 50 lbs. I talked to my husband about getting implants once I was close to my goal weight. He was very supportive and excited. After a year of hard work, I was ready to look into BA. I went in for my consultation yesterday with Dr Schiesel. I am unsure about what size implant to get but really liked the 500cc silicone. I was expecting to like a 400cc from following people on this site, so I was a bit surprised at myself. I have fairly wide shoulders, so I think I can pull off the bigger size. I am going back in to reconfirm my size choice next week. I have scheduled my surgery for March 2nd, 2017 (less then 2 weeks away!).

Went and tried on sizers again today. I feel much more confident with my choice of the 500cc. The receptionist and I were talking and she said, "I think that size will be perfect for you." That is what I needed to hear from someone! My husband really liked the 550cc, but assured me he would love whatever I chose. 10 more days!!

Hi !
Hope it's ok that I'm following your posts !!

I'm a 33 year old mom of 1 who just got 450 filled to 495 gummy under the muscle type implants.

I was freaking out a lot over that number seeming so "big" until I stumbled across your story - we seem to have similar builds :). I'm 5'6, 140 lbs and super broad shoulders and rib cage.

Your after pics look awesome - feel free to creep mine :)

Well, March 2nd is just a week away. This time next week I should be home, resting. I had my pre-op yesterday and asked a few random questions. I picked up my Rx today and bought some new pillows to prop myself up with. I bought myself a new button up shirt since I own exactly 1. I have my list of "To Do" things for next week. I will make sure the house is cleaned and all the shopping is done. I am so glad my husband can cook because the first few nights may be on him...I will see how I feel.

I got some new sports bras earlier in the week. The first week I will be in bandages and the dreaded "strap", so I will need them for the following 5 weeks. After 6 weeks, I think I can move to a normal bra but may have to wait a bit on an underwire. Will I really want to wear an underwire after this? We shall see.

After looking at other people's pictures and stories and I wondering if I may end up a DD. I am not too worried, other then I have heard it is a little tougher to find a bra that fits. Right now, I am killing time checking out swim suits and hoping I can find one that fits and looks good soon.

Yes, we will both be resting next week at this time with the new girls!!! :D I am March 1. I am also curious to see what size I end up with. I know it's definitely going to be C, I wonder if it will be a D though. Which I also wouldn't mind. I am still waiting on buying compression bra's for after the surgery. I think my PS will provide one and then I can see what size I will need and I will just have the hubby order one online. By the time I can shower etc the bra should be here. And I can get some more after that.
I also still need to find something to wear for after the surgery with button up. I am in GA and it is pretty warm already most days, so a zip up sweat suit is probably not the best choice.

And yes.... who needs underwire!!! lol!!! I think it's more of a choice then instead of a must have! ;-)

We are almost there!!!

OK is having crazy weather. Our Bradford pear trees are in full bloom...in Feb. 80 degrees yesterday and 50s today. I went with a lighter weight shirt and thought I can throw my jacket over it if it is cool. I also left the tags on in case I can't button it because a medium may be too small in the chest for a few weeks. (Paranoid?) I am also taking a big, flannel shirt of my husbands, for backup.

I am so excited for next week! We will have to keep each other updated.

It's hard to make the right decision if we don't know what size we will wear after! I usually wear M, but I think I will go with a L for something for the ride home and for the follow up appt. I think for at home I will try and find some button up short sleeve PJ's. We will figure it all out! :D
Yes we will definitely have to share our experience next week! That is if we are not too drugged up. lol.
