1 Year Anniversary! Stats: 5’3 107lbs 400UHP Mentor Implants

WORTH IT$7,800
I can’t believe it’s been one year since my surgery! I should have done more updates but life happens. A full time job and 2 toddlers can make you forget what time and day it is! I sometimes want to completely forget about updating my status, but I remember how useful these reviews were in my research, the days before surgery. I wanted to see the long term results and most people would just post updates a few months post op. There are a couple of ladies who are really dedicated in posting frequent updates and share their experiences to help those who are considering breast augmentation. You know who you are and you rock, ladies!
For those who are still searching and still on the fence and wondering if it’s worth it. For me, it is definitely worth it! I love my breasts now and how they fit it with the rest of my body. They have given me back the self confidence that kind of faded after having 2 kids. It basically brings back the breasts I had prior to my babies, but perkier and a little bigger :).
Since my last review, they have dropped a little more and finally settle into their pockets. A few months ago I noticed that my left felt harder and sit a little higher than my right, which has always been the stubborn one that refused to drop. I was a little concerned and was really afraid that it was a form of capsular contracture. I started massaging it more and took Singulair daily for a month. It felt a little softer and seemed to drop a little more. I wanted to call and see my doctor right away but his schedule and mine did not work out. Anyway, I’m pretty sure now that it was not capsular contracture, but just a matter of differences in my anatomy that finally show through. My right was always bigger than my left and the crease was not the at the same level as that of leftie. So naturally I think the right has more coverage (tissue) for the implant and therefore it feels a little softer. My husband can’t tell the difference but I can. My left still sits a little higher than my right and is not as soft. I have come to accept that it is my natural anatomy and do not expect perfect symmetry at this point. Nevertheless, I will try to make time to see my surgeon to really rule out any problems. I wonder how many on here are still religiously making those post op appointments? I’m just so lazy!
Overall, they have fluffed and dropped some more in the past 2 months so for those who are in the early post op days/months, be patient! They are soft but not like my natural deflated boobs before lol. I love that they are so perky to the point that I forget to put on my bra when I go to work! Thank God for jackets! I feel so much more attractive wearing anything that is strapless or spaghetti straps! I no longer have to come up with contraptions/methods to inflate and keep them up. That alone, for me, is worth the money! The thing I notice the most now is when I lie on my left, I can feel my implant and it is a little harder and not as comfortable as when I lie on my right. Anyone else experienced this? Besides this I really have nothing negative to say about my whole experience.
I may not be on here as often as I should, but I usually get back whenever there is a questons. And I DO read your comments! Feel free to ask me any questions. This forum was very helpful to my journey and I hope I can pay it forward.

You look AMAZING!! I’m SO happy for you!! You look perfect........seriously!! ;) & I can feel my implants too when I lie down....weird feeling but oh well! ;) I wouldn’t worry too much about your right breast but I would follow up w/your PS just to make sure! & my right breast is my problem child too....lol! It’s still a little tender & I have worse rippling in my right than my left, but even with our imperfections we still love them, right?!? ;)

I have rippling too on my right when I bend all the way forward. I took a picture but it didn’t come out well. I can feel the rippling more than seeing it... if that makes sense. It doesn’t bother me much since no one would see it anyway

I love love looking at how you updated everything! I'm only clos to 7wpo and it's very nice to see 1yr post op pics! Did your surgeon have to prescribe singular? Also your 1yr post op looks as beautiful as your earlie ones. I would've never guessed you have toddlers! Your body looks like you've not given birth yet at all.

6-month update

April1104
Hi gorgeous ladies,
I have not been on here to stalk all of your profiles on a daily basis, but I have checked in once or twice and know that most of you are still looking beautiful :). I am now 6 months postop and have been so busy that I almost forgot to do an update! ????
I am still extremely happy with the surgery, and my results. The size is perfect (huge to me still but not crazy)! They are definitely softer and I hope they will continue to be. I think if I had gotten the lower profile , it’d be a little softer? But I’m comparing them to my deflated skin bags before, which felt very very saggy soft lol.
Scars: the left size definitely looks better. Right size is a tiny bit raised and darker. I am alternating between the Mederma night scar therapy and the silicone strips, which for some reason make me itchy time to time.
Movement: I do feel them moving when doing certain exercises or movements, but I wouldn’t call it animation deformity. I’m sure most of you can relate on this.
Sensitivity: I still don’t have 100% full sensitivity yet. I think the bottom halves are still a little numb.
I honestly feel that they are part of me and often forgot that I had surgery until I caught someone staring at my boobs! Lol
I’m posting some pics of me while my husband and I were on a short trip to Cozumel. I don’t have any full naked pics of them now, but if anyone wants to see, I’ll find the time to do it later.

We are just 1 day apart with our BA’s. I’m can’t believe how fast 6 months go! You look fantastic. I can relate to the movement thing for sure, as well as some numbness. Have you found a bra that you love yet? I’m having a hard time. I’ve tried on so many, thinking I’ve settled into my final bra size of 34D - but I just can’t seem to find a comfy one yet! They are still very full on top - which I love.

I am mostly in my sports bra lol. I am between 30DDD or 32DD depending on the bra. Have you tried body by VS, wireless ones? They’re pretty comfortable! I used to wear underwired every single day before surgery, but I cannot stand to wear them an entire day now. And because our breasts are very full, I think we need the underwired mostly for support and not the pushup effect.

Thanks! I will check VS out. I do have a few sports bras I like, but I can't wait to find something sexy ( and comfy) if that exists!

I would wait a bit before spending any crazy amounts on a good bra. I am 15 mpo and fluffed multiple times since sx. I had my last fluff at 12 mpo. I was last sized at 34H but I’m now waiting on my new bras of the next size up. Just a little tip from someone a little further along ;-). Good luck! ❤️

Confession of a shopaholic!

April1104
I am 14 weeks post op, and I am a shopaholic! ????. I can’t help but browse through all retailers’ websites and think everything will look good on me! I end up buying a lot, and I mean a lot, of clothes thinking I’ll prob return 3/4 of it. Nooo, I end up keeping at least 3/4 of it! These boobs make everything looks so good, from backless, strapless, deep v-neck, low neck, to halter, cross back! Everything looks so damn good. I don’t have to think about what bra to wear because I can just go without one! OMG, I need help! Ladies, do you have the same problem? ????????

I did in the beginning but I’ve chilled out now. Honestly I started to realize that most of the stuff is just hanging in the closet b/c I don’t go out that often. Some days I do love dressing them up and other days I just like keeping them comfy. It’s all good though b/c your just “excited” to have such beautiful girls! Just try not to go broke just yet sweetie, LOL! I know it hard b/c everything is so darn cute! Haha... ❣️

Omg yes! Idon’t even go out that often! Hahaha I mean how often can you wear a backless dress!

Do you have any advice for someone that is looking into breast augmentation? I’m currently a deflated 34C and have a lot of side boob but no Cleavage and have wanted a BA for years and just decided that I’m going to it next year so I can up front and not have any loans or anything. But I wanted to know if y’all had any advice for someone that’s looking into it.

That’s a good idea. Save up and also save some more just in case you need revision/or have complications. These are the things that you hear people talk about and surgeons warn you, but it’s something you can never be fully prepared for! My advice would be: 1. Take time and do your own research to find a caring doctor who will stick with you through thick and thin and who will take responsibility for their work. Ask what their revision rate is and what is their policy on that. 2. Look through before and after pics, especially those with similar pre op stats as you, and choose your wish pics. Use them to communicate about shape, size, cleavage space, profile, amount of side boobs, what you like and what you don’t like. Be very concise and clear in communicating that to your surgeon. Make sure they know exactly what you want and ask if that’s a possible result for you based on your frame And measurements. Be realistic but don’t settle for just any surgeon. 3. Don’t get hung up in the amount of CCs. And I mean that both ways either the number sounds too big or small. What matters is how they will look on your body. I’m sure that people look completely different with the same size implants. But it is true, the bigger you go, the risk for complications increases. Your surgeon should be able to make recommendations based on your wish pic and pre op measurements. 4. Buy the extended warranty, which should help if you run into complications. 5. Once you’ve done all of this, let us know, we’ll help you to prepare for the surgery! :) I can’t wait to follow your journey!

Thank you so much I appreciate everything! I’m so excited and wish I could hurry up and get it done. I’ll keep everyone posted and will start my review once I have my surgery date!

What amazing advice! I completely concur, on every point. Regarding cc's that's so true. I thought I wanted 500 plus. My surgeon highlighted the fact that bigger implants on me made me look much wider. That is not what I wanted. I wanted to look in proportion. He has helped me accomplish this. :)

Totally the same problem!! Haha
