So this morning (Tues.30/20-10am) I got my long awaited breast augmentation procure done!!! It all went so smooth like this was meant to be. Never been more nervous and anxious and excited In my life. To the point I couldn’t sleep or sit down and was very nauseous buuuutttt.... it was all worth it because they turned out better than I expected. Obviously swollen and stiff and very high but so gorgeous and full and great cleavage. I am over the moon about all of this. I know a lot of women get disappointed about their results right after the procedure because they will change shape as they heal but I can already see what a great job Dr. Kara did on my new ladies!
So to prepare I quit smoking and stopped drinking a month before my surgery. I have been eating a well balanced healthy diet and taking supplements and lots of water. Also, I bought a Shefit sports bra in advance and I would honestly recommend this to anyone as a sports bra OR post-surgical bra. It is very comfortable and sturdy and adjustable and it’s a front zip. I’m going to need to purchase another one. Will be very useful for when I work out after I’m healed aswell.
The pain is tolerable, just sore and more when I use my pecs or upper abs which is more than you’d expect. They feel very tight and swollen, and I can’t tell if it is difficult or just uncomfortable to take a deep breath but nothing crazy.
All in all I am very happy and excited to continue taking care of my babies and documenting the healing process along the way. Also I would be happy to answer any questions about my experience to anyone that wants to know. I know this site soothed my anxiety and curiosity while I was planning out my procedure.

Day of surgery to day 1
My boobies look like torpedos and am kinda living for it. Embracing each step of recovery. I had a shower and went for a hike and napped a few times, would definitely recommend getting a neck pillow to help with sleeping sitting up. It’s super comfortable.
My entire ribcage, chest, and sides feel super tight and claustrophobic but nothing unbearable. My boobs are still quite swollen and warm but I’ve been icing on and off regularly and taking all of my medications. Already squishier than yesterday. A little nauseous today. Not too bad.

You went hiking?!? Girl, I’m having a hard time getting up to go to the bathroom!

Ya i was literally moaning in pain the whole car ride home. Not a good idea. And it was a hard hike even when I wasn’t post surgery lol I did get over the muscle though which apparently is a much easier recovery :)

Ohh! I went under the muscle!

Thanks! And sweet I’ll make sure to keep updating this then :)
Btw, love your username! xD
And I just checked out your post, when are you getting yours done? So exciting! And what size are you going with?
I also did rice sizers and you definitely get more fullness out the sides with the real thing.
And I had my nipples pierced too but I took mine out right before, idk why lol

Day 3-4 after surgery.
Already squishier. Still very high and nipples pointing low. So much roundness on top, not a lot underneath. Already stopped taking any Tylenol. They don’t hurt that much except for right underneath my left boob, almost behind the incision, feels like a pulled muscle and hurts whenever I move it a strange way. Also, the weirdest thing, when I touch the edge of the implant where the cleavage is on the top/inside of my right breast I feel a sharp poke on the inside of my shoulder. Like the nerves are somehow confused there. So strange.
I’m trying to hide this from family so I told everyone I’m camping and have been stuffing months before surgery but I realized as soon as I hug someone they’re gonna tell. They’re so hard and pokey right now lol oh well

They look so amazing already. I'm sorry to hear you're having some painful poking sensation. It does sound like maybe a nerve is aggravated, so hopefully that subsides soon. Overall sounds like your recovery is going great though! Looking forward to more updates.
Also good luck hiding it from your family. I decided to tell a couple family members and they stressed me out enough that I decided I'm not telling anyone else. It's your body, your decision and it shouldn't matter to anyone else. I'm already preparing myself for questions from others once I get them done though.

Aw man, sorry to hear that, that’s super stressful. And same, I’m already prepared for questions in case my pre-stuffing wasn’t enough lol thanks for the love and support though! Definitely means a lot considering the people on here are the only people who know aside from 3 friends lol

Absolutely. I really have fallen in love with this community and how supportive everyone is here. The best I can do is give back while we all continue on our journey. Happy healing, and feel free to inbox me anytime you need more support.

Anyways, I did some research before I had my consultation and it seems everyone goes under the muscle but once I told them what I was looking for they told me over the muscle would give me the best results :)
I had mild ptosis, enough that it could possibly be corrected by implants without a lift but over the muscle gives the best lift effect, especially when you go with high profile. They described it as a swing. I’m assuming my collar bones being the top of the structure and the further the swing goes (aka the nipple) the more you get the illusion of a higher nipple. But over the muscle isn’t for everyone. Before I was a large b small c so I had enough breast tissue to hide the edges of the implant. If I was thinner or had smaller breasts it would likely look too fake for me (not that they don’t look like two cantaloupe halves atm lol). That’s one reason why a lot of people go under the muscle. The muscle provides some covering for the edges so the implant doesn’t look bolted on. But ya, as they ‘drop and fluff’ we’ll see how they turn out! I’m hoping to get more fullness on the bottom- gotta love that underboob - but honestly I’m already in love with them I’m sure I’ll be happy with whatever happens. I’ll make sure to update weekly or more because I found this site super helpful before my surgery and I have nothing better to do anyways. Hope that answered your question!
