This is my first post on RealSelf as I am officially scheduled to have my long awaited breast augmentation! I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve been waiting for this opportunity, mentally, physically, and financially for close to 9 years now! It’s so surreal and I’m excited to share my journey!
Dr. Grawe at ROXY Plastic Surgery in Powell, Ohio will be preforming my surgery and I’m ecstatic. She is so fun and truly talented at what she does. I follow her stories and procedures on Instagram and Snapchat and could watch them all day! I am super excited to share my story as well as results because it shows in all her patient photos how amazing she is!
My boobie background consists of 3 breast fed children. So the best way to describe my breasts are a deflated 34B. I have always been small chested but now 3 kids later, I am not only still small chested, but empty. All of my volume has gone and give my breasts a flat, saggy appearance. My goal is plenty of fullness while also achieving great cleavage. Decided on size 450 CCs in both breasts. Here we go!!

Dr. Grawe and staff at Roxy Plastic Surgery are so so amazing. I am beyond happy with my decision in going to see her. I finally took the steps towards something I’ve wanted for years now. She helped me see it through, and did she deliver! She’s the whole package!

Did you have to remove our nipple piercings for the procedure?

Some photos of what I am currently. 34B, a little asymmetry going on between the right and left. Two different sizes may be the solution. Hoping my surgeon can level things out! Pre-op it’s TOMORROW so we will find out!

Just left my pre-op appointment where I tried on all the sizers and officially chose my implant type and size. I tried on 400CC first which was a bit smaller than what I’m going for. I then tried on 450CC but still something was missing. Bumped the sizers up to 485CC and even though the difference was minimal it looked like it was just enough- even maybe a bit big but I’d rather go too big than too small. I felt sexy and bold yet proportionate. I then decided on High Profile Silicone- Gummy Bear implants. This means they’re a bit more form stable and “implant” looking. This way I can get better fullness in my upper-pull region ( More cleavage! ;) ) So all in all I’m super happy with my decision even though part of me is super nervous! The girls were amazing and patient with all my questions and worries. Dr. Roxy truly Rox!

Great size choice. I’m looking to get High profile as well. Where will the surgeon be making the incision?

I was playing with idea of going through the armpit just because I feel like it would be less visible but after talking with my surgeon I decided on the Inframammary fold incision (under the boob). This area is also well hidden but also makes for easier placement of the implant. The armpit canal is tougher to get an implant down into and more sore afterwards. That’s how I understood it!

Def don't do the armpit incision with a decent size implant. I've seen so many reviews go south by using that placement. Majority of those ladies had to go back for a revision to get that implant to drop properly. Keep in mind you lose a bit of cc if going behind the muscle. Your 485 will prob look like 450 afterwards. Remember d&f takes time but it's def worth the wait! I'm assuming OH must of opened your PS offices back up? I know here in MD it's a stand still unless your an essential worker. Elective surgeries have been put on hold and so on. Anyway get prepped and enjoy the excitement! It is nerve wrecking but you'll be ok!! Thanks for sharing your journey with us on RS! I look forward to following your review. :-)

Great point I had thought about that too, that the implants would appear smaller under the muscle. Thank you for your input I’m definitely glad that I chose the inframammary incision rather than the armpit! My office got the approval to reopen (with stipulations) just Monday! Elective surgeries can resume tomorrow, May 1st.

I think you're on the right track thinking better too big than too small. Initially after implants, you think they look huge because it's such a change from what you're used to. As time goes by, you get used to your new size. Our pre-op boobs look fairly similar. Not that it means you'd have similar results to me. You're taller than me and so an equal size implant might appear smaller on you. I have 550cc and I'm happy with them.

Thank you for the kind words :) I think you're going to look amazing! One of the biggest factors in determining what your final results will look like is what your boobs looked like to begin with. Yes, like me your boobs are a bit deflated due to having kids. But they're also symmetrical, they're spaced nicely on your chest, and your nipples are centered pretty well on your breasts. I predict you're going to have 'wish boobs' type of results!

I'm excited to see how the gummy bear implants look. Like you, I prefer the round, full appearance with lots of upper pole. The rest of your body is already bangin'! Add some big round fake tits and you're going to look insanely hot, girl! So exciting!

Awe thanks girlie! I’m a little worried that since my breasts are a little on the saggy side- not enough for a lift but still somewhat low, that putting a 485CC in there would make them hang even lower. But I’m hoping with the gummy bear it’ll give me somewhat of a lift? Lol maybe its wishful thinking. I guess we’ll have to see! Either way I’m excited to have something, ANYTHING! Lol

I don't think you have anything to worry about. Your boobs look quite similar to mine, in my opinion. Actually, I think yours held up even a little better than mine did to three pregnancies. Would you be happy with boobs that sat in a similar position on your chest as mine do? Because I think that's about what you'll get. No, you won't have boobs up to your chin, but they're not going to droop too low either. Yours are going to sit right where they should be. An experienced surgeon will create your implant pockets in such a way that the implants stay where they should with the help of your overlying muscle tissue. I don't think 485cc is so big that gravity will have a negative effect for a very long time.

You seem to really know your stuff! It’s very informative thank you! And I LOVE your results. You look hot and if mine look anything like yours, then I’ll be a happy gal! I think I’m just thinking too much into it. I’m a worrier lol but thanks for your input, I appreciate ya!
