Feels like someone’s sitting on my chest

I take my pain meds and penicillin as prescribed, and my surgeon also got me a stronger pain med to use “just in case”. As it turns out I take that particular one every 3-4 hours since most of my pain is pressure related. I don’t feel any pain in my incision and if it wasn’t for the sensation of pressure on my chest I wouldn’t feel any uncomfortability at all.

The pressure I feel on my chest I would say is on the verge of being painful and what it does mostly is that it makes it a little difficult for me to take deep breaths. Other than that it’s fine. But when I take the stronger pain meds and the chest pressure is relieved I feel like a million bucks. Breathing isn’t an issue anymore and I can relax more.

I believe that the chest pressure for me is this uncomfortable because we put in a lot of cc’s. 450 is a lot, for my body frame and breast width I couldn’t go higher than 590, so 450 is the size right before that. I love my boobs though and would not trade this pressure sensation on my chest for a (what I’m guessing) more comfortable 380 cc implant! :) I’ll try to put up more pictures today also, they are looking less “squary” today - I think!!

Operation day + 1 day PO

Got in to the clinic in the morning yesterday and got to change into a soft and comfortable robe and cotton slippers. The anesthesiologist visited me first and told me what his job would be and answered any questions I had about that part of the procedure.
After that my surgeon came in and showed me into his exam room. I removed my robe and he took pre-op pictures and right after that he drew on my chest where my implants would go. I wasn’t nervous at all!
When he was finished with the lines we went straight to the operation room. Last minute we decided to go with round Motiva implants instead of the Ergonomix kind - he said that the Ergonomix would look great but with time they would sag a bit because of their softer and anatomical qualities. So I said: Let’s go with round then, I want the best result possible!
I went to sleep and woke up in a different room and had BOOBIES! I had to look a few times to really understand that they were real and mine. I felt a little nauseous (mostly because I had fasted for many hours and I always eat breakfast in the morning) and I got a fluid pushed into my arm that would take the nausea away.
I got a breakfast and then the waiting game began, my mom wouldn’t come and get me until 3 in the afternoon and I was out of surgery at 9.30 in the morning. I texted my boyfriend, snapped a few photos of my new boobs and sent them to my boyfriend, sister and some of my girlfriends.
I love my boobs so much already!! Can’t wait for them to be less swollen!

Surgery moved to may 22nd!!

I’m beyond thrilled - I moved my surgery from the 3rd of July to the 22nd of may, that’s in 12 days! I’m so excited!!!

I’ll be doing the surgery 9 days before I start my new job, luckily it’s a job where I sit by a desk and do most of the work on a computer. New job, now boobs!

What I’m doing now is that I’m trying to work everything out with my recovery. The plan before was to have my boyfriend help me a lot the first couple of days... but he travels out of town with his work 2 days after my surgery. It’ll work out though, I think I’ll just go and recover the first days at my mothers house instead.

Hopefully I can change the surgery date on here as well - can’t believe it’s in less than two weeks now!
