After debating this my whole adulthood I finally have a breast augmentation scheduled in three weeks! I chose a 450 CC teardrop shaped textured implant- the sizers felt a little big ( I don't want my breasts to be too large, I really just want volume and cleavage) but my surgeon assured me the sizers are a few centimeters larger than the actual implant, and after being placed under my breast tissue and muscle, they will be a bit smaller than what I'm trying on in the bra. I'm excited and nervous- mostly nervous at the reaction of colleagues when I return to work.
During my first consult I also was able to see how different sized and shaped implants would look on me using the Vectra imaging technology. Although it is purely a simulation, it's very helpful! For anyone is doing consults, I would suggest doing it with a surgeon that has Vectra- perhaps call ahead and ask. I'm a visual person so actually seeing it on me was awesome. I will post before and after pics with the Vectra.

My upper chest is SO TIGHT. That’s really the only pain I feel. It’s so much pressure but I just take pain meds to fall asleep to get relief. I’ll post a more detailed account of my surgery once my meds kick back in. I’d say the pain level is a steady 7.
