43 Y/o Mom of 2 – Motiva Ergonomix 230cc with Preserve Method – 6 Month Update (Dr. Mark Epstein, Hauppauge NY)

I’m 43 years old and breastfed two children about 13 years ago. Over time I lost a lot of the volume I once had. My breasts became very flat and I went from having a fuller chest to looking like a small A cup. I always thought about breast augmentation, but I never seriously considered it because I assumed recovery would be painful, the results would look unnatural, and I would need to take significant time away from my active lifestyle.
My consultation with Dr. Mark Epstein in Hauppauge, NY was originally meant to just explore the idea. I didn’t expect to actually book surgery that day, but after meeting with him I felt extremely comfortable and confident in his expertise.
During the consultation he explained the Motiva Ergonomix implants and how they were designed to move and feel like natural breast tissue. He also took photos and showed me digital renderings of what my results could look like using 230cc implants. At first I thought 230cc sounded small, but the rendering showed a transformation from a small A to a full C that looked very natural and proportional for my body.

The procedure was done under twilight sedation rather than full general anesthesia, which I really appreciated because I didn’t have to worry about the typical side effects of general anesthesia.

Around the second week I experienced nipple hypersensitivity, which I later learned is common as the nerves wake back up. Wearing pads in my bra helped a lot and that gradually resolved.
By week three I tried on some bikinis and that was the moment I really fell in love with my results. They looked exactly how I had hoped they would—full, natural, and proportional to my body. Even in my younger years I don’t remember loving my breasts as much as I do now.
My confidence improved in a way I didn’t expect. I didn’t realize how much the loss of volume had affected me until I saw how comfortable and confident I felt again in my clothes.
Now I am a little over six months post-op and just had my follow-up appointment. My recovery has continued to be amazing. My breasts feel incredibly natural—full, soft, and very squishy to the touch. They move naturally and truly feel like my own.
My incision has healed beautifully. It’s very small (about 3 cm), flat, and has faded into a light brown tone with no redness. It continues to fade and is barely noticeable.
I continue to receive compliments about how I look in clothes, and many people assume I’m just wearing a special bra to get that shape. Most days I’m actually not wearing one at all.
