415cc SSF Natrelle
415cc SSF Natrelle
I started out a 32aa, tiny breasts my whole life but I am athletic so I always figured they suited my physique.
I am 40 and finally decided to go through with a breast aug, boy am I glad I did!
Also, what in the world was I waiting for?? I should have done this years ago!!
I went with 415cc and SSF which is silicone soft touch instead of srf which is silicone reactive. Soft touch is kind of a misnomer as they are actually more cohesive (or firm) but they are supposed to be better for flat chested girls who have little breast tissue to begin with. Its a $600 upcharge for SSF but I figured if I'm already spending $6k what's $600 more? Apparently they will ripple less.
I am almost three weeks post op and I'll tell you, the recovery is rough. I was down and out the first three days. Sore, felt like I'd been in a car wreck and a tire was left on my chest. I was super sick from the codeine or anesthesia for the first night, vomiting like crazy, which was brutal with new surgery.
I started to get up and move around easily after 4 or 5 days, I went back to work on day 8 and it was no problem except my back was killing me from being in bed and not exercising. I'm an esthetician so I lean over clients and perform services all day, which is hard on your back in the best of times. So post breast aug its been pretty bad from the lack of exercise and laying around. Plus the surgery itself.
I'm 3 weeks post op now and feeling good, they are pretty high and tight still, which is to be expected. I get hot sharp nerve pain on the sides but I massage them daily and try to stretch my arms regularly. The nipples and lower portion of my breasts are extremely sensitive. Like live wires or exposed nerves. I don't want anything touching them so I bought thick zip front bras at old navy (in a 34c) and they pad my nipples well. She said to massage the nipples to help with sensitivity so I force myself to do this even though I want nothing touching them.
I can tell they are dropping and I'm super glad I went with 415cc. Some friends were telling me that's too big but I listened to my surgery coordinators and they said 385cc is too small. I wanted a natural look but the fullness I've never had. I'm glad I went with 415cc, I think they will settle perfectly.
I've been wearing the strap across the top of my boobs for about a week and am having a little issue with one incision, which I'll post a pic of. But overall I think they are settling nicely.
3 weeks post op
I am having one concern that I am going to ask the RealSelf community which is broken blood vessels all around my nipples and on the underside of my breast. I am hoping this is temporary and not permanent. I know my skin is stretched like crazy and maybe that caused the broken capillaries. I can do IPL to help that situation but I'd prefer not to have to. Has anyone else had this problem? I will post pics showing the vessels .

Other than that I’m very pleased and have been spending way too much money online shopping for my new body.
