WORTH IT$6,600

I started out a 32aa, tiny breasts my whole life but I am athletic so I always figured they suited my physique.

I am 40 and finally decided to go through with a breast aug, boy am I glad I did!

Also, what in the world was I waiting for?? I should have done this years ago!!

I went with 415cc and SSF which is silicone soft touch instead of srf which is silicone reactive. Soft touch is kind of a misnomer as they are actually more cohesive (or firm) but they are supposed to be better for flat chested girls who have little breast tissue to begin with. Its a $600 upcharge for SSF but I figured if I'm already spending $6k what's $600 more? Apparently they will ripple less.

I am almost three weeks post op and I'll tell you, the recovery is rough. I was down and out the first three days. Sore, felt like I'd been in a car wreck and a tire was left on my chest. I was super sick from the codeine or anesthesia for the first night, vomiting like crazy, which was brutal with new surgery.

I started to get up and move around easily after 4 or 5 days, I went back to work on day 8 and it was no problem except my back was killing me from being in bed and not exercising. I'm an esthetician so I lean over clients and perform services all day, which is hard on your back in the best of times. So post breast aug its been pretty bad from the lack of exercise and laying around. Plus the surgery itself.

I'm 3 weeks post op now and feeling good, they are pretty high and tight still, which is to be expected. I get hot sharp nerve pain on the sides but I massage them daily and try to stretch my arms regularly. The nipples and lower portion of my breasts are extremely sensitive. Like live wires or exposed nerves. I don't want anything touching them so I bought thick zip front bras at old navy (in a 34c) and they pad my nipples well. She said to massage the nipples to help with sensitivity so I force myself to do this even though I want nothing touching them.

I can tell they are dropping and I'm super glad I went with 415cc. Some friends were telling me that's too big but I listened to my surgery coordinators and they said 385cc is too small. I wanted a natural look but the fullness I've never had. I'm glad I went with 415cc, I think they will settle perfectly.

I've been wearing the strap across the top of my boobs for about a week and am having a little issue with one incision, which I'll post a pic of. But overall I think they are settling nicely.

I started as a 32a and now I’m 32 DD (E) and got 400cc of the mentor “gummy bear” ones and I agree recover is super rough!!! I had a partial lift done at the same time and I’m about 5 months post op and I feel like they look “too” natural!

3 weeks post op

Went in for my 3 week post op yesterday and everything is looking normal. They are still high and tight and the ladies told me I need to stretch and do more massage. Ideally someone else would massage my breasts under the armpits at the top of the implant to help them drop. I don't have a partner to do this so I may be required to go in and have their office do it, we'll see how they drop over the next 3 weeks. I am scheduled to go back for my 6 week follow up in a few weeks and they will determine then if I require in office massage.
I am having one concern that I am going to ask the RealSelf community which is broken blood vessels all around my nipples and on the underside of my breast. I am hoping this is temporary and not permanent. I know my skin is stretched like crazy and maybe that caused the broken capillaries. I can do IPL to help that situation but I'd prefer not to have to. Has anyone else had this problem? I will post pics showing the vessels .

Did you ever find out why the broken blood vessels and pain on the underside of one? I’m almost 4 weeks post op and my right breast is kind of the same way and very tender on the outer side of my breast and underneath. It’s really making me worry. Thanks!

Everything is settling nicely. I’ve got one trouble spot with my left incision that isn’t healing great, I think I’m spitting a stitch. Other than that they’ve softened tremendously and are dropping, still not working out my upper body to help the implants settle. The worst part of all this is getting out of your workout routine. I’m totally off workouts and feel yuck!
Other than that I’m very pleased and have been spending way too much money online shopping for my new body.

Do you have an update? And did you know your bwd? I feel like I have a similar body type as you and am getting my surgery in January. Wanting to see how yours settled!

Yea! I love love love them. Actually kind of shocked to see my befores on this post. I don’t regret doing this at all! What is bwd? I’ll post pics now

They are looking great!!! Bwd is breast width diameter. Your PS needs that measurement to see what range of cc’s will fit in the breast pocket. My diameter is 14cm which is kind of on the bigger side. My PS recommends 485 ccs. I’m wanting to be about as big as you are, so just seeing what yours was to compare! But if you didn’t know what bwd was, then I’m guessing you don’t know yours! lol. Thanks for the update!

I would absolutely go with what your PS recommends. I’m so glad I listened to Maggi and his team and did 415ccs. I think I would have been disappointed with the size otherwise. I also feel like I could gone bigger and still been happy. But I love that they’re not overly large. I’m not sure my bwd, lol. Best of luck! It’s an exciting process!

Yes I’m trying to trust him and what he believes will be best for me! Thanks so much.
