Surgery day!!
Well, it’s done! I was the first case of the day. Arrived at 630am, was in surgery by 730, and was headed home around 1030am! I ended up with 385cc on the right and 350cc on the left. After taking a peek, I fee very good about the size I picked. Size was by far the biggest stressor for me throughout this whole process!
The entire staff was fantastic. Getting my IV (which is usually a nightmare) was a breeze. As far as pain - I’m taking diazepam and Percocet and it’s working great. I’m just super tired. I had a pelvic surgery last fall and this is a cakewalk compared to that surgery! I’m excited to see them out of the bra and to see the final result here in a few months. So far, I’m so so happy I did this for myself.

Surgery is right around the corner! I selected Dr Honeycutt after a few other consultations left me feeling somewhat uninformed. She - and her staff - spent 2 hours with me at my first appointment going through all of the options, pros and cons, taking measurements, etc. My second appointment was almost as long, with the time spent going over the surgical plan and sizing. I’m feeling very confident in my choices - EXCEPT FOR SIZING!!! I’m freaking out. I’ve called back 3 times going over my measurements and looking for reassurance that I picked the right size. I’ve attached pics - I’m wearing 400cc sizers here, but with Sientra sizing I had to go up to 415 or down to 385. I picked 385 and I’m hoping they aren’t too big. I have a few friends that have done 300-325. All but 1 says they wish they had gone slightly bigger. Most of the 385 post op pics I see on here look HUGE, whereas 3 month post op pics look close to my goal. Ugh - this is so stressful!!
I read a lot about the BWD measurement being the most important measurement. I’m 12.5 on one side and 13 cm on the other. The 385cc HP implant is 12.3 - and I’ve read you want the same size to only slightly smaller, so it seems I’m right where I should be. What profile implant are you getting? Do you have any sizing pics??
