I went in for my consultation about 2 weeks ago and met with Dr. Maloney for my consultation.
Originally I thought I would want a moderate profile implant. After trying on the 450 cc sizers I decided I'd prefer the high profile ones. We both agreed this was a much better size for my frame. He showed me what Natrelle Inspira SoftTouch high profile 450 cc would look like on my body with Vetra images (I posted those images). I have some asymmetry and I was (and honestly still am) worried about how it looked in the images. He assured me that the software can't actually adjust for the asymmetry, but given that I want a high profile implant, and the asymmetry is due to sagging (from breast feeding 12-14 years ago) not the volume of my breast, it will be less noticeable than it is now in real life and that it won't look the way it does in the Vetra images.
Once I was done talking to Dr. Maloney I spoke to a couple members of his staff. They were super nice and very helpful. They answered a bunch of questions I still had but hadn't thought to ask. And! While I was there, I set my surgery date for July 20th. I'm so excited!
Since then I have gone back and forth with the size and have been talking to a staff member via e mail. She's been incredibly helpful and welcoming in answering all of my questions. She's sent me more Vetra images with alternative sizes. I'm pretty sure that I want to go 520 cc now! I've scheduled another appointment to go in to try on the sizers again take some more photos since the first time I didn't wear a good shirt for pictures and didn't take any photos with the 520 ccs.
A couple other details...
My fiancé is super supportive of the decision. I've always talked to him about possibly wanting to do this someday, but never seriously until a couple of months ago after I tried on wedding dresses and decided "enough is enough! It's long past time I had some boobs to fill out beautiful dresses!" He was a little hesitant at first about it and said he'd miss my "perfect handful sized boobs", but over the bast month, and after showing him a few wish pics, he is totally on board!
I'm going on a very physically active road trip with my kids in the summer, and I do not want them to be impacted by the surgery, so I scheduled the surgery after our trip when they will be vacationing out of town with family. It feels like such a long time to wait, but I'm sure the time will pass fairly quickly.
Right now I weigh 137 pounds, and I plan on losing a few pounds to be at my goal weight prior to surgery. I'll update that info and take some pre op photos to upload too closer to the surgery

Oh awesome! Do you mine me asking what your stats are now?

I am 5'7" and between 155-158lbs. My weight fluctuates. I've been thinking about going back to discuss size but wasn't sure if I should wait until the pre-op. They were cool with you going back a second time?

Yes, you can call or e mail them and ask to try on the sizers again. They're super accommodating and understanding of what a big decision it is.

I figured out the size I want! Also here's a bunch of info I've found out about sizing...

I made some 400cc rice sizers and I think I've found the perfect size! I'm going to bring the sizers and show them some of these "wish pic" photos I took with the sizers on so that I can get as close to this size as possible. I had to stand weird in some of them to hide my tattoo btw. I'm sure if they can tell me if we'll need adjust the cc up given that I'm having them placed under the muscle. My implants don't come in 400cc I will ask to try the 415cc ones and ask if they will sit about the same as the photos I've taken with the rice filler once they are placed under the muscle. It's possible she will say that my original choice of 450cc will sit most like the 400cc rice sizers once placed. We'll see, and I'll post once I know.
The staff at my doctor's office are super knowledgable and helpful. This has been a really confusing process that's taken a lot of research and having to ask a ton of questions. I'm going to give you a bunch of info that I've learned so far and hope it's helpful.
For reference the implants I am looking at are Natrelle INSPIRA - Smooth, Full Projection Soft Touch N-SSF415 (Size: 415, Width: 12.75cm, projection: 5.1 cm, Length : 9.3cm, sizer: N-SZRF415). The width of the implant varies based on the ccs (ex: 415cc 12.cm across in diameter, 480cc 13.00cm, and 520cc 13.25cm) I've posted a photo of the 480cc implant vs 520cc to show the width difference.
Here's the link to the catalogue in case you're interested in checking out other sizes: https://paulwilsonaesthetics.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/Allergan-Natrelle-Smooth-implant-catalogue-2016-1.pdf
I tend to like how moderate implant (wide base, lower projection) looks like on people over a full implant (possible smaller base and high projection) look on people with boobs that are little father apart like mine. When I talked to the staff at the doctor's office she said that going with a wider base is actually more harmful than good because while it in the first 2-3 weeks it may give me slightly more cleavage, as the implant settles and drops into its natural position it will fall into my armpits and stick out the side. I really would like to have cleavage on top, but I am more interested in my cleavage appearing fuller and closer together than bigger on top, but not at the risk of having them fall in to my armpits. She said the full profile will provide me with both cleavage and projection and they typically only use moderate profiles on patients that have plenty of breast tissue on top to begin with (already a C or D cup) and are getting a breast lift and would like a little more cleavage. Since these patients already have plenty of breast tissue that sits on top of that implant they don’t need a full profile implant because their natural breast tissue will provide that projection. Whereas if they put a moderate profile implant inside of me it will give me a more flat pancake like appearance with the same amount of cleavage as the full profile implant.
She also told me that since I measured at a 12-13cm across I have the option of 365cc-520cc implant because those are the implants that are all 12-13cm across in diameter. The size range of implants that would fit in my breast based off of my measurements are 365, 385, 415, 450, 485, and 520. If I chose an implant outside of that range it wouldn’t fit in my body properly and I would look under or over filled and wouldn’t be cosmetically pleasing.
I posted a bunch of Vectra images with different sizes. The Vectra is just a simulation, it can only simulate the volume increasing. My doctor and his staff assured me that the left breast will look more like the right breast once I have the implants but the Vectra isn’t able to show that.

Okay that's a lot! I'll update after my sizer appointment next week.

I agree with you on the cleavage!! Being closer together then higher is just a pretty look. I LOVE the idea of making your own rise sizers. Very innovative. Good luck with your upcoming surgery. Hugs.

Thank you! I'm glad I did because now I'm a month out from surgery and still going back and forth on size. They are still the size I want and when I compared them to the in office sizers it seems like 485cc is the way for me to go.

I've decided on 485cc Natrelle INSPIRA - Smooth, Full Projection Soft Touch N-SSF485

Creative305214
I went in today to try on sizers again. I tried on some that were a little larger than 520cc (I'll post a pic just for fun of these) and I tried on 450cc. The 450 are close to the rice sizers I tried on at home. resting, at Dr. Maloney's office suggested that if I like that size I should go to 485cc because under the muscle they look about the same size as the sizers. I'm posting a couple side by size comparison pics of my 400cc rice sizers at home vs the 450cc sizers in the office.

I'm glad that the sizing was successful! So are you going to go with 485 or 520cc's - or are you still deciding?
May 14, 2021
Thank you!! I’m going with 485. I almost want to go a little smaller (450) but it really seems like 485 under the muscle is going to get me exactly the size I want in the end.

I think that size will look perfect on you! I can't wait to see the results
June 2, 2021
Thank you! I think so too but I keep getting a little worried that I should go with a moderate plus profile and a smaller implant because all the pis that I think are the most beautiful have gotten around 375cc moderate plus. My PS said that because I don''t have much in my upper pole that I'll want more projection than that. His office staff said that a moderate plus implant would give me more of a pancake look.

My Husband actually doesn't know the different between 475 cc to 500 cc.

But I made a joke that if I got 500 cc I can eat more to balance stomach to my new boobs.

Actually my PS note it base on my chest size and my goal: which were some. pictures I shown him and my word saying NATURAL which is should be avoid! he note it my size from 300 cc to 410 cc. Perhaps if I said I don't mind fake looks and I want bigger maybe he will start from 500 up.
