I'm 36 years old and had breastfeed 2 kids. I had lost all volume to my breasts and hated looking in the mirror. I wanted to post my story because I felt there are not a lot of before pictures like mine. Small, saggy, and sad. I ended up with smooth round high profile silicone 485ml implants, incision under the breast, and couldn't be happier.
Dr Brown was my second consultation out of three I had made. After I met him I cancelled my third. There was no doubt in my mind that he was the one. He was focused on what I wanted and he is full of energy and enthusiasm for what he does. He asked me to provide photos of the look I was going for. He used these vision board photos in surgery as a reference so he could get my look just right. I was borderline needing a lift, but knew I didn't want one. Dr Brown and I agreed that with the look I was going for, he would order a range of sizes between 350-405ml knowing that he would make the final decision in surgery to get my look as close to my vision board pictures as possible. I trusted him to make the call. When I came out of surgery he told me my body "swallowed up the implants", that they looked way too small when they were in my body and he used 485ml instead. I was a little shocked, but trusted him. They seemed really big at first, but by my 6 week follow up, and especially by 3 months I could see he made the right call. My breasts look very similar to my vision board pictures, fit my body, don't seem too big or to small. I love them.
Alternatively, my first doctor consultation did not ask me what I wanted. He took measurements, opened a little book that, according to the measurements he took, told me I should get 325-350ml. He also said he wanted to lower my crease to make my nipple appears higher. That really freaked me out because of the risk I had read of developing a double bubble when lowering the crease. I know now that if I had gone with this doctor he would have unnecessary lowered my crease and given me way to small of implants. I would have absolutely been disappointed.
Another reason I wanted to write a review is to mention that I had post anesthesia depression. It started on day 2 or 3 and lasted for about a week. I'm not normally prone to depression and in all my pre-op reading, I hadn't read that this is something that can happen after plastic surgery. It turns out it is pretty common. I just felt really sad for a while, and then it passed.
I experienced pain for a while after surgery, but it was managed well by alternating Vicodin and Valium.
I had no problems with wound healing. At 3 months now my scars are starting to fade.
I'm so glad I did this. I love how my breast look and I'm so happy I found the right doctor. I'm so happy Dr Brown made the decision he did in surgery, even though it went outside of the original plan. He had to confidence and experience to give me what he knew I wanted.

This makes me so happy to read. Your case in particular is a great example for many reasons. You were for sure borderline needing a lift. In those cases it’s an in table decision depending on how your tissue handles the implant. I’m your case I knew we needed larger implants based on how you absorbed the volume of those smaller implants and we were not even lose to what you wanted. Ultimately I settled on the ones that I knew you would be happy with long term because we connected on what you wanted pretty solidly in the office. So yours settled just as I expected and look so perfect on you.
I am glad you touch on post surgery blues. I have posted on Instagram about this. It’s real. It does pass. It’s in my oil as well so I am excited that if many buy it they will know of it before surgery and be prepared. I try to talk about it in the office but don’t always. I’m s so happy that you are happy. You’re a great patient and person and I’m grateful you trusted me.

It is so nice to see a doctor comment on a review! Very thoughtful! I have extremely similar breasts but a bit more volume or "extra skin" apparently that my PS suggested removing today at my consultation and getting a lift. I was in no way prepared to even think about a lift and I am now researching alternatives because at first he mentioned "best to do it now than later" and then when i asked the nurse to go get him when it sank in that he wanted to do the vertical incisions and completely deviate from what I was expecting I said, "I'd like to see how it looks and if I need a lift later I'll do that later, but I'm not interested in that right now" He mentioned I shouldn't do anything if I don't do that and really I felt a bit bullied about it. I am looking for the same implate size and shape but saline and I'm the same age and breastfed 4 children and honestly I think your doctor working with you on this ended in a lovely result. I wish he lived near here since I'm getting second opionions!

I’m no surgeon but if your borderline and really against a lift then maybe take a chance without one and see how it looks. And also the look your after. A lot of surgeons have the “ideal breast” in mind I’ve found which is usually one that sits very high on the chest, but some may want a more “natural” look with a bit of sag.

I have gotten many 2nd opinions now who all agreed that a lift wasn't necessary so I'm moving forward with a new PS and I have surgery next Thursday! I agree with you, I'm going to see how they look with just implants and if a lift is required later or they don't sit the way I think that they will, I will handle that later.

Surgery wale by great! Right now I’m sore but nothing major and they are high and tight of course. I’m so glad I got other opinions because out of 15 other doctors not one of them thought a lift was needed and I’m loving how they are looking already without one. I’ll post my story on here eventually

This popped up on my real self news feed so please don’t think I’m some kind of pervert! I must say that this is by far the most natural breast transformation I’ve ever seen. They look fantastic and not in any way fake. Congratulations to you, and great job to the highly skilled surgeon.
Thanks for sharing your journey and photos! It's great to read how everything worked out for you :)
