I called the office and scheduled a surgery date, before my consultation and before my pre-op were even scheduled; put down the deposits and everything! They were like ooookay. I’d been contemplating and researching for YEARS! Talking to all my friends, asking questions on social media, and doing my due diligence on choice of surgeon. I competed in body building for many years, and originally thought I wanted implants to help me in the sport. Turned out, I never needed them to do well, and figured it was for the best NOT to make such a permanent change to my body in state that wasn’t sustainable. Three years later, I felt my body was finally back in homeostasis, and when I knew I STILL wanted boobs, it was time to schedule! I called Dr. Browns office mid February, they were able to schedule me April 5th for surgery and then combined my consultation/pre-op appt on March 18th. It all happened SO fast, but I’m that kinda gal. I do my research and GO! I’m writing this post op day one, and so far, am feeling great! It’s not that I couldn’t use it, but haven’t needed help for anything as of yet. Haven’t needed pain killers, but have been staying on top of the muscle relaxers and am feeling surprisingly mobile. Staying put in my post-op bra as instructed, feeling some crackles in my ribs and chest, no major bloating (yet) and nothing real crazy to note. Will try to post updates as anything changes! Sitting real high and tight for now, so I’m sure the changes in shape will be the most notable thing to update. Super, super happy so far, and highly recommend Dr. Brown! Not only is he an awesome surgeon, but he truly exemplifies the health and wellness lifestyle that I feel EVERY medical provider should preach. ESP a cosmetic surgeon. Whether you’re able to get in with him or not (logistically) he’s definitely worth a follow on social media outlets if you’re contemplating any kind of cosmetic procedure.

Feeling tight, but no need for pain meds and stopped the muscle relaxers 36 hours post surgery. Implants are still very high and tight, and the belly is definitely feeling the bloat! Super happy so far and can’t wait to watch them take shape!

Thank you, no idea what to expect and haven’t seen my surgeon for a follow up yet, so very nice to hear! Thank you!

No news is good news! Really nothing crazy or exciting to report. I can’t tell if they’re starting drop, or if the swelling is just going away, but they’re definitely changing every day :) Tried on most of my swimsuits and a bunch of sports bras and was pleasantly surprised everything still pretty much fit—obv just a different look than before. I’ve never wanted huge boobs, just some boobs haha. To match the rest of my frame and I really think my surgeon nailed it with sizes he picked in the OR. The purple things in the last photo, sticking out of my PO bra, are nursing ice packs. I got them for $9 on Amazon and they’ve been perfect because they easily cleanable and reusable! Still icing prob 2-3 times a day. Feeling great so far and back to work tomorrow!

Looks good! Congrats! Do you know what bra size you are now? I'm going in next week & opted for 385 but started getting nervous that it's going to be too big. I'm 5'4" & 120. Your size looks good though & I saw you were 385ish cc's.

I have no clue lol. I’ve not come out of the post-op bra as far as bras go, and they are size (M). They are so high and tight still that it seems pointless to try on normal bras; until they settle a bit more. I will say, I can still fit into swimsuit tops and most sports bras I was wearing before (just looks WAY different!). My circumference is still a 32-33 now that swelling has gone down. I was a 32B before surgery, if I had to guess, depending on the bra I anticipate I’ll be a super full C if it’s not a push-up bra, and probably a D if it’s a bra with any substance to it. Sorry, lots of words and no real answer lol.
My doc was actually planning on going bigger based on the consultation, but when I was in the OR he had my wish pics and when he was trying sizers in, he thought the 425/450cc we’d talked about would be too big for my liking and made the decision to go with 385/415cc instead. I told him before surgery I trusted him to make the call and would regret going too big, more than too small. So that’s what he went with and I’m really glad he did!

Thank you! Your thoughts were very helpful! It gives me an idea of where I will be. I'm a 34B & asked for full C/low D like when I was breast feeding.

Your beige/nude surgical bra looks so comfy!! Where did you get it? I'm trying to find one like yours to replace the one they put on me after surgery because it's not supportive or comfortable at all :(

It’s from Amazon! I LOVE this one. The one I went home with isn’t awful, I just like this one better :) I’ll put the link below. For sizing reference, I got a medium (had 385/415cc implants and pretty much nothing to start with).

Your surgeon certainly nailed it with that size implant. And that bra from Amazon almost can be worn outside. You look INCREDIBLE
