I have always known I wanted fuller breasts as my boobs were always so small, and left me feeling quite insecure when wearing a bikini, wearing a top with no bra, or v neck dress etc... It took me years to finally do it, but I am so glad I went through this procedure. Everything I wear looks 10x better, I already feel so confident!

-Pre-Op Details and Advice-

Hi everyone!
I am 5'5, about 62 kg and decided to go for 350cc Mentor implants, inframammary incision, under the muscle, because I had little to no breast tissue and I wanted a more natural look.

***Pre- op advice:
- I was advised to avoid smoking and taking anti-inflammatory medication 1 month before surgery, alcohol 15 days prior.
- It's ok to browse online for your desired size but avoid comparing of the size of implant you have chosen on other women. We all have different body shapes, height, breast pockets, width of our back and chest, a close up picture might give you a false perception of the size you will obtain and vice versa. It will ultimately give you more often than not a deceiving expectation.
- If you do do it under the muscle, please remember that yes, it will be painful but it will undoubtedly give you the natural result you want, and by week 2 you will feel much, much better!
- Have someone there with you for the first week! From getting dressed, to showering ( washing your back, washing/doing your hair etc), holding a water bottle, waking you up and giving you your medicine, helping you up, opening a door, car door etc - it will be necessary!
- Have comfortable wear ready, by that I mean- baggy, comfortable and easy to put on clothing! Any dresses, or shirts with buttons are ideal!
- Stay calm, you will be asleep, and the team will look after you!
- If you are doing the surgery abroad, try to stay to in the country for 10-14 days if possible. I personally found it necessary, as I could not hold any weights, and resting was KEY!

Desired results shown in photos! :)

Surgery Day

Surgery Day:

I laid on my chest and sides for the whole night, knowing very well that I wouldn't be able to do it again for quite a long time ha ha. I woke up around 6 am, arrived with my mum at the clinic, signed the paperwork and was called shortly after.
They asked me to get changed to my surgery clothing ( hat, dress and slippers), and sat down waiting for the nurses to get started with me lol ( I was so scared of the needles!!) I think that was the only thing I was actually scared of!

The needle wasn't as painful as I imagined and it was quick. It is quite uncomfortable to have the fluids going in your veins if you aren't used to it, but it's ok!
I spoke to the doctor, nurse and anaesthetic, and I waited a long while for the surgery (about 45 mins!). Everyone was super helpful though, and by then I was relaxed, more than ready for the transformation- I even fell asleep waiting!
When I got to the surgery room, I thought ' Oh sh*t, its really happening :), the anaesthesia HURT SO BAD, when it goes into your vein!! But it lasts 3-5 seconds and shortly after....... I woke up with new boobs!!
I remember, they woke me up and asked me how I felt I just remember saying ' I am in SO MUCH PAIN!' ... So painful, so much pressure, and they have the elastic band and bra keeping it all tight.
They gave me biscuits and tea, pain killers and I was still in SO MUCH PAIN! Omg, no one prepared me for this pain, that is all I kept thinking lol
They got me standing up on my own and walked to the toilet. The drains were very thin and when removed, I didn't feel a single thing, I was still very numb.
Ice is really recommended as it helps the swelling go down.
My mum came to say hello, and hours later I was discharged. I walked back to the hotel ( about 10-15 minute walk). Breathing is difficult, talking is difficult because of the pressure and the tightness of the band and bra.
On another note, I was so happy that I FINALLY HAVE BOOBS! The first day was a little bit of a blur because I was sooo drowsy on medication:
- muscle relaxant
- anti-inflammatory
- 2 different pain killers
- sleeping tablets
- nausea tablets.
Did it help? On the first few days there is only so much meds can do, I felt a lot of pain!
But I always remembered that it is all worth it :)

PS. I did smoke 15 days before the surgery, despite being advised to avoid it, and I took 3 ibruprofen tablets 7 days before my surgery, although they advise you to avoid those meds 15 days before ( I completely forgot about it, I was in such bad period pains!), but it was absolutely fine, thank God!
