I had my revision on 9/22 (now 5 days post-op) and I am already in LOVE and feeling so good! I cannot believe I spent a year of my life waiting for my new boobs to fix themselves and being so self conscious. Hopeful you all can get it right the first time by being very picky with your surgeons and asking for their detailed plans and measurements if they aren’t already presented to you. Happy tiddies to you all!

Revision time!

Well I appreciate everyone’s kind words but I just couldn’t take it anymore! I went to another plastic surgeon who agreed that my inframammary incision was placed way too high for my implant size. You can see from this Vector shot that indeed, my nipples appear extremely low in relation to the diameter of the implant. SO, I will be having my revision on 9/24. I have hated their appearance under clothes and I ever did a bikini shoot a couple weeks ago where you can see how their like bubbles glued near my collar bones. He is going to make me a new, lower crease and replace the implants with new but same-size gel. I can’t wait to get that lower pole fullness and feel more confident in my clothing!

Hey, I'm glad to hear youre taking a step towards getting the boobies you always wanted! Who did your initial surgery and who is doing the revision?

Thanks! Dr. Galumbeck did the initial and Dr. Hubbard is doing the revision. I can't wait!

It’s hard to believe over 6 months have passed already! Unfortunately, I’m not completely satisfied with my results to this point AND my surgeon abruptly retired as of January 1st. In sum, I have noticed the most improvements thus far in the last 6 weeks alone. My implants are much softer and look more natural head on. Now, the part that I am worried may not improve at this point is how how they are with “chest out” posture. The disproportionate fullness on the top from the side view when I stand up very straight is TERRIBLE. I know I have tight pecs. And I know that I may have started weightlifting again a tiny bit too soon after surgery. However, I’ve avoided working my chest as much as possible. I’m getting worried that maybe the bottom of the pocket wasn’t dissected enough but I do find hope that in the last month, shaving my underarms has become easier (flatter surface without implant causing curvature). To me, this has to mean that there is still some subtle dropping/fluffing going on. I hope. ???? I am trying to wear a compression band as much as possible as well. You can see in the pics how much the band helps the side profile significantly. Again, in a less forced upright stance, the top fullness isn’t as noticeable but I still want it GONE.

Thanks very much for the update! It does appear like they haven't fully dropped and fluffed. Sometimes I've seen reviews with changes from 6 months to a year. Stay hopeful! That's awful to hear that your doc retired.. did they refer you elsewhere for post op care? Do your breasts feel soft? I know capsular contracture sometimes makes them look like they haven't dropped, but then they would feel hard

They are very soft so I'm feeling pretty certain it's not capsular contracture. No, the retirement was quite shady in my opinion and patients were simply told to seek care from another board certified provider. [Insert eye roll.] Hopefully once societal normalcy returns I will have a consultation with another surgeon to get an opinion. I'm hoping that since I've noticed changes in the last month that I'm just one of the unlucky late fluffers!

Well please do keep us posted, would love to hear if you end up satisfied with your results. How many post op appointments did you receive, and how far out from surgery before the retirement?

I had a follow-up at two days and at one month then I wasn't able to get in before they closed. :(

My implants adjusted up until the one year mark. I didn’t think it was possible but they did. I do a lot massaging and focus on the eternal attachments of the pectoral muscles and stretches that help too. I believe it made a difference in my dropping and fluffing process.

Thank you so much for this! I go through phases where I'm unhappy and think they'll never move and then the next week I'll be excited because I think I feel and see a little difference. Crossing my fingers! Adding more massage now too.
