34A to 36C: 400-425cc

Ever since I realized I wasn't going to fill out on top, I've wanted implants. I was tired of the padded bras and not being able to fill out clothing properly. After years of consideration and good financial stability I pulled the trigger on breast implants.

I'm 5'8", 150lb, 34A pre-op (BWD Right: 12.5cm, Left: 12cm. My right breast was slightly bigger and lower than my left breast. The staff helped me decide he implant on the left side needed to be 25cc larger than the right.

I chose Mentor smooth, round, high profile, silicone implants. I wanted the largest implants for my frame (since I'm taller and athletically built I figured this would fit me better). My implants were placed through my armpits, since I didn't want any marks on my breasts. 400cc for my right and 425cc for my left.

I went in for surgery at 6am and left at 9am. It definitely felt like I was carrying rocks on my chest the first few days. I was still able to get up and go for walks and move my arms above my head. My post op appointment a day after surgery I was told to buy an underwire bra to help develop my breast crease. I ended up buying a 36C front clasp bra from Sonoma. I wore the underwire bra when I went out for walks and to give more support when I was up moving around.

I took pain pills and muscle relaxers as scheduled the first 4 days. Day 5 post op, I took 1000mg Tylenol 2X during the day and a pain pill at night to help me sleep. Day 12 post op, I swapped the pain pill at night for 45-60mg of CBD oil and 1000mg of Tylenol.

2 weeks post op I had my stitches removed. It felt so much better being out since they were irritating my armpits. My left breast was sitting a bit higher than my right, so I started to wear a compression strap above my left breast to bring it down. I only wear it for a couple hours at a time since it makes my other breast sore. I went hiking a couple days after my stitches were out and my implants felt great (just a little heavy and tight at the end of the day).

My surgery date was 9/10/20, so I'm 5 weeks going on 6 post op. My implants have dropped and softened significantly since my surgery. I don't have any pain or tightness at all. My implants are starting to feel a more apart of me everyday. The left is still sitting a bit higher than the right. I'm wearing my compression strap here and there. Massaging my breasts inward 2-3X a day. I've been using Bio Oil daily on my breast and my incisions. I've worn silicone scar sheets a couple of times as well. My incisions have a long ways to go to start looking better, but I know that will take time. Still trying to be patient with my implants fluffing, as well as that left implant dropping- ugh!

Otherwise, I love them so far! RealSelf really helped me through my research of breast implants, so I hope this post helps someone else. I'll post more updates later on!
