1 month post-op

WORTH IT$5,500

I'm 1 month post-op and think things are settling well! I feel like they are symmetrical; m nipples are a bit asymmetrical but they were like that prior to surgery. The first 2 weeks post-op were a struggle. I had a lot of swelling that spread to my abdomen so had a lot of tenderness & bruising in my abdomen. Most of my pain was in my back around my shoulder blades. I called the office, they said it was likely the position I was sleeping in (I'm typically a stomach sleeper & has to remain on my back post-op). I started using a wedge pillow with my regular pillows which really helped! I also had a little it of shortness of breath, like sometimes I couldn't take a deep breath. Last week (week 3) things improved a lot. I'm now back to my regular activities, gradually increasing lifting. Overall I'm happy with the results so far!

Prior to having kids, I was a full 34C and liked what I had. I'm a mom of 2 - 4yo & 7 yo. I breast fed each of my kids for 1 year. After the first round of breast feeding with my oldest, I lost a lot of volume/upper pole. Since then I missed having the volume and went from being a 34C to barely 34B after 2 kids. I did get p to a 34D while breastfeeding. I had a consult with a plastic surgeon that friends of mine recommended me to. Everyone at the office was great! I did fit testing. I decided to go with the Sientra 385 cc mod plus as it reminded me of pre-breastfeeding. I had my surgery on April 22. The surgery went very smoothly. I'm POD 2 now & got to take my first shower. I'm very swollen. I've even had swelling/bruising in my abdomen which my PS warned me about since I'm thin & said it was normal. Pain has been manageable & has mostly been located to my upper back. I do feel they are a little big and am hoping once swelling decreases and they drop some that things will look great!
