1 Month Post Op Check-in
$4,000
After a month the pain has mostly gone away, save for a grinding sensation when the breasts are moved, primarily in the center of my chest. Lifting is slowly resuming but I have decided to take it very slow and steady with exercise for the time being. The right breast is being super stubborn and isn't dropping with the other, while the left seems to be going slowly. They are still super firm, but have softened up slowly over time. Nipple pain is still very apparent, and likely wont go away until there is less pressure there. I have been using scar away to flatten the scars, which has worked great. I have another follow-up in a couple weeks so I will likely post again if I get new information.

3 Days Post Op
I wanted to give an update at the 3 day mark when I was able to take my first shower. The pain has been pretty intense, and the Oxycodone they provided doesn't seem to do much. That said, Tylenol helps greatly. My pain was mostly in my back and arms and after 48hrs, adding in ibuprofen greatly helped and enabled me to get my first full night of sleep. Up until last night, I was only able to manage 3 hours of sleep before id be up. Elevating and heat did not seem to really help, but sitting in desk chairs did. Once I get to the 1 month mark I will post some more updates.

I will also add there has been a ton of constipation and bloating. Fiber and laxatives have helped but it is still an ongoing process.

Post Surgery Day 1
The surgery went very well and I returned home to recover. The first night was filled with aches an pains which kept me mostly awake, save for a sporadic 3 hours of sleep. The most painful places were actually the tops of my breasts, and strained back and triceps muscles from the increased use without utilizing my chest. The pain medication helped, but not much. I will add post pictures once I am able to remove the bra for a shower this weekend.

Not sure how you feel about it but for me once I was released from my PS I made sure I got fitted with the correct supportive bra and have done so over the years and must say I have no issues or problems wearing oneall day. When women complain about theirs I tell them to go get fitted!
