Hey ladies, I’ve been using Real Self for a couple of months now and has been really helpful so I thought I would post my own BA journey to help anyone who is interested!
I am booked in for my BA the day after tomorrow. I am based in the UK and have had 3 consultations with my surgeon. After trying the sizers I decided my ideal size would be 335cc high profile motiva implants so my surgeon has ordered a range between 295-355 to decide on the day during surgery. I will also be getting 2 different sizes to even out slight asymmetry between my breasts. My surgeon said under the muscle is his preferred method but said I have enough breast tissue to do over too.
I am 27, 5ft8, around 9 stone and fit 32B but sometimes I would say I need 32A to get cleavage.

So I had my BA today! I had really been worried about the anaesthetic but I was surprisingly calm, it was absolutely fine, I just went under and woke up in my room with boobs! I started to cry it made me really emotional.
I didn’t have a bra on yet so was able to see them straight away. I was really out of it though so I couldn’t get a photo but will add a pic in my bra. Really shocked at how ‘normal’ they look as I was expecting them to look really high and crazy. I’m still unsure of the size that my surgeon went with as I will be meeting with him in the morning (he came to see me after surgery but I was still completely out of it), will update size tomorrow but was aiming for 335cc.
When I came around I felt great, no pain at all but later in the day when I got my dinner, I immediately started to feel really sick and light headed and almost fainted. This is due to the anaesthetic so I got oxygen and anti-sickness IV which helped a lot.
At the end of the day now they just feel tight/heavy and I have a bit of swelling on the sides and in the middle, which is really tender to touch. Overall I feel good, have a lot of movement and really happy with the size. The main issue I’ve had is the IV in my hand which has been really painful when getting my meds.

So today I woke up feeling good, I stayed over night in the hospital and my surgeon came to see me first thing. He said he used 335cc and 315cc in my bigger breast to even out asymmetry so I’m really pleased!
Unfortunately I was given codeine which I didn’t agree with at all. It made me feel really sick and knocked me out so had to stay in the hospital until about 4pm instead of leaving in the morning.
Other than that I feel good, it’s not really pain, more or just a heavy feeling and a bit of tightness. I’ve been hearing squishy noises sometimes when I move my arms, my surgeon didn’t use drains so I’m guessing this is why. He said the body will absorb this eventually and prevents infection. I’m quite swollen, especially in the middle of my boobs so I don’t have much definition at the moment, as you can see in my photos but loving the size for my body proportions.

I also had 335 and 315. I'm 2mnths P.O. and my boobs are pretty much exactly even. I'm delighted. Im back teaining and my scars are healing briliantly. Hope your recovery goes well, my top tip is start eating shredded bran now!! Or even better, before surgery!

Did he end up going over or under? I’m looking at motiva ergonomix high profile 335 too! But going under the muscle I think.

My surgeon used the dual plane technique which is partially under he muscle :) x
