WORTH IT
Dr. Kim preformed my rhinoplasty in 2009 and ever since I told myself that if I ever get my breasts done, it will be with him. A little bit about him, he is a man of a few words who gets straight to business. You might sense coldness from him when he first walks through the door. He is not the type to sit there with you for 2 hours and convince you about something. He looks at you, tells you what realistic results you can get with him and delivers you exactly what he has told you. Personally, I love that about him! When it comes to surgery, you dont doctors over selling themselves nor confusing you even more. Dont be taken back by his personality. His entire office works like that too. They will not run after you or beg you to book a surgery. Just trust your intuition and know that you are in very good hands.
About my breast augmentation experience:
Im 32 years old with 3 kids who I breastfed for a short while. After gaining and losing weight over the years, my boobs have changed tremendously. I couldnt recognize them anymore. Before kids, I was a 36C with cute perky boobies. Over the years, my boobs deflated and sagged, especially my left one. I had major asymmetry (as you will see in the photos). It was really bothering me, because it would show in bathing suits and open tops. After going back and forth, I decided to finally get it done. Dr. Kim told me that If I did not want a full lift, we have to at least do a donut lift to get better results. Also, he pointed out that my chest bone sticks out which kind of separates the boobs from one another. Meaning, if I want that cleavage look, I will need to wear push up bras. He was very realistic about my results and didnt over promise me anything. I decided to go with a donut lift, a full C cup and a medium size nipples (not too small).
About my surgery:
I had my surgery on 7.12.22 and I honestly had the best experience. The nurses were amazing and took a great care of me. I comfortably went to sleep and walk up 1.5 hours later not feeling sick or anything. The anesthesiologist did an excellent job. I never felt pain after the surgery, only pressure and discomfort. I never even took the narcotics that he prescribed but only Tylenol. The first night was REALLY uncomfortable, because I had to sleep on my back (Im a stomach/side sleeper). I had major anxiety afterwards, not sure if its because of the anesthesia or the thoughts I had put in my head. Next day, Dr. Kim took the bandages off and put me in a bra. I was in bed for pretty much 3 days then got out of the house on the 4th day. The boobs felt really heavy as if something is sitting on my chest. It was making me feel even more anxious. After 4 days, I started massaging them which actually felt nice.
I am now 9 days post op. All tape came off yesterday and Im loving my results so far. I wanted them to look VERY natural and I think they do. They are getting softer by the day. My right boob was the smaller one so it has a larger implant, 305cc. My left one has 235cc. The right one feels tighter and more sore as the skin needs to stretch more. I actually feel the implant there versus the left side which feels very soft and real. Again, no pain but feels more like engorged boobs that need to be emptied. Im wearing an extremely tight bra to keep them close together per doctor advice. I will continue to update as Im healing."
