Update
Hi! It's been about 10 weeks or so since my procedure and everything has been so easy! I love my boobs more and more each day and feel as though my Dr made the perfect size recommendation for me. I do not regret them whatsoever and feel blessed for healing so easily with no issues minus the antibiotics. I just started working out again (I could have started sooner but was on vacation for 2 weeks). Some moves feel weird, especially at the incision site, so I'm trying not to do anything too strenuous. I'm also trying to avoid many chest work outs because that's not of importance to me, and I've read it can mess with how they settle.
According to ABraThatFits.org I'm measuring at a 30DD, and those bras do seem to fit best but I'm trying to hold off on buying any more bras as I know they need to settle more over the next year.

My antibiotic made me super, super sick
I've had a high stress week, and went out for sushi on Tuesday night. Wednesday evening my joints were in so much pain after sitting and studying for 8 hours that I was on the verge of crying, and to make it worse, anything I ate or drank was running through me and coming out the other end liquid. I thought it was either bad sushi, or all just stress taking a toll on me due to the massive test I had Wednesday evening. Today (Friday) as the symptoms continued, it finally entered my head that maybe this could be a side effect of my antibiotics. Sure enough, when I got home and Googled Cephalexin severe stomach pains, diarrhea, and joint pain were considered common side effects. I was relieved it wasn't bad sushi, or old age! I have one more day left of taking them, and I've decided to stop. I can't miss my shift tomorrow due to having the runs and debilitating stomach cramps, Imodium and Pepto don't help whatsoever, and I've had a pretty healthy/unremarkable healing process, so I don't think ending one day early will kill me (knock on wood). But just to repeat myself, Cephalexin worked a number on me. It just blows my mind that I was great the first 3 days on it, and then come day 4 it decided to wreak havoc on me.
Mean while, my boobs are great. I celebrated their 1 week birthday today and am so impressed with how far they've come.

I thought it'd be worse
I had my surgery on a Friday morning and by Sunday I was using Extra Strength Tylenol during the day, and my pain pills at night. I switched to this because I needed to be able to drive around and didn't feel comfortable attempting that while on opioids. Basically, everyday at 3AM, 9AM, 3PM, and 9PM I'm taking my pain meds and my antibiotics. I'm still sleeping propped up a little bit on my back, with my travel pillow around my neck. I find it to be really comfortable and don't have any issues sleeping. The biggest issue with sleeping is I'm used to having my hands tucked under my cheek and since I'm on my back I don't know what to do with them, so I just hold a pillow on my chest and hug it. This also keeps my cats from laying on my new boobs, so it's helpful.
I'm taking showers every other day and putting lotion or oil on daily, especially on my chest because I find it to be a bit itchy. Honestly the worst part for me is the incision, only because my sports bras seem to rest against it so that is an uncomfortable feeling, especially when I'm sitting upright at a table for a long time. Bruising is also starting to appear, which from my understanding is pretty normal, so the bra resting on that doesn't feel all that fantastic either. Nothing worth crying or screaming about though. I still maintain the feeling that my chest feels as though I've done a lot of push ups, or for those moms out there, as though I'm engorged with milk.
After taking laxatives daily I finally had my first BM last night and it felt great. I've felt like a swollen bloated mess since the procedure, and I finally feel as though I'm returning to normal.
Boob wise...they're big and awkward right now. I'm thrilled to have some upper pole again, but the Frankenboob is real. Also, not sure if I've said it before, but my PS let me keep my nipple piercings in the whole time. For those with piercings looking into getting the procedure done, I recommend getting jewelry with longer bars to allow for swelling.
I feel as though I've had an easy recovery so far. I don't know if this is because of the size of implants I picked (R 325, L350), or if because I've had a child and breast fed before, or if my pain tolerance is just high, but I'm not complaining. I'm not going to be seeing my PS until a week from today (11 days post op), but I have his cell phone number if I have any concerns which is reassuring.
