31, 5’7, 132 LBS with 34 B Before 520 CC Inspira Silicone Implants
At 31 years old, I am finally getting the boob job I’ve always wanted later this week with Dr. Christopher Maloney. Although this is something I’ve wanted since I was 17, my ex husband managed to talk me out of it several times as he “loved me the way I am” and despite thinking my 34Bs are perky and cute, I wanted to feel more womanly & sexy - NOT “cute”! I’ve always been blessed with a small, nipped in waist and full hips/booty that responds well to workouts and I want the top to match the bottom. I am somewhat obsessed with retro Hollywood glam, pinups and the “Golden Era” with its celebration of the hourglass figured woman as the epitome of feminine beauty. When my ex & I finalized the divorce, I knew that I wanted to have the procedure done since it would no longer be the trigger to WW3 in my personal life. I do not have nor have I ever wanted kids of my own but have acted as a surrogate to a couple who have been amazing friends to me throughout the years & I believe in the benefits of breast feeding so I breast fed both of their children who I had carried & was in love with my boobs during that time. I’ve known & been telling people around me since the age of 7 that I didn’t want to have kids, so after acting a surrogate for the second time & knowing my friends were done building their family, I got my tubes tied so bye-bye pregnancy boobs forever. Now that I knew how fantastic I looked with bigger boobs, though, I was convinced more than ever that I wanted to have them done ASAP. Not only are bigger boobs something I’ve always wanted, but working as a Dominatrix & occasional stripper with aspirations to be a burlesque dancer in the near future, they are an investment. I’ve managed to pay for my homes, cars, trips, invest continuously in my stocks and put away money in savings all while working a week, perhaps two out of the month giving my self more time to invest in my business ventures & study for degree number one (law student), soon to be followed by degree number two (PhD in neuroscience) & judging from the increase in income I experienced while breastfeeding, it’s same to assume that the same will be true with my boob job, making life that much better.
Knowing that not only is this a procedure that will effect my confidence, but that it also will have financial implications, I wanted to find the best surgeon for the job so that the impact was all around positive. I made consultation appointments with seven of the top rated doctors in my area & Dr. Maloney was the third. My initial impression upon making the appointment over the phone was “Wow, the receptionist is SUPER friendly! I wonder if that extends to the rest of the staff..”. I was happy to discover that it did! Everyone was incredibly nice & welcoming when I arrived for my consolation. The office is beautiful and well kept, sizable to accommodate the skin care services offered and they always seem to have a plate of little chocolate turtles for patients in the waiting area - sometimes, it’s the little details haha. I’d like to point out that I did not go in to great depth reading reviews because I did not want to be swayed one way or the other by the opinions of others. I simply noted the number of reviews each PS had while maintaining a four and a half or five star rating. I did not want my perception to be tainted by others, for better or worse, and did not necessarily want to be impressed by the school or the awards the dr had been given. I wanted to develop my own opinion after meeting with them & look in to their background further if I felt that they were someone who I’d want to move forward with in scheduling my surgery. I also did not want to be one of those women who comes in with a stack of pictures or who was dead set on a certain number of CCs only to find that it wasn’t suitable for my body. I didn’t necessarily have “wish boobs” - I wanted my boobs, only bigger. The only thing I was dead set on was appearing as natural as possible, gummy bear silicone and not overdoing it for my frame. I initially went in thinking I wanted to go to a full C, but I reconsidered because this is not an inexpensive procedure & I already knew that I’d regret it if I went for a smaller size. Dr Maloney had me look at & try out the sizers, in addition to 3D imaging which I snapped a picture of so that my man could get an idea of what I’d look like. After 3D imaging, he informed me that I could go bigger & still maintain a natural appearance so I decided on 450 CCs which would put me in a D, at the very least. I also loved how he was so honest about the implants themselves, as I could have went with the newest line of implants that were purported to be even more natural to the touch but that would have cost an additional $600. Dr. Maloney told me that he honestly didn’t feel that there was THAT big of a difference and could save $600 unless I wanted to go with the newer line. I took his word for it, and honestly that was a huge selling point for me as one of my biggest concerns was being taken advantage of by someone who was out to make money & didn’t really care about the people who they are working on. In fact, I was extremely turned off by another surgeon who has a consultation fee, a fee which the receptionist at that office felt she needed to justify for me. Yes, time is money and all that but in my opinion, the consultation is something that you should look at as a job interview. You are literally hiring this person to work for you, and it so happens that they are working on the body you are going to live with for the rest of your life. The consultation is their chance to show you why they stand out above the rest & why you should hire them, not the other way around. A PS could be THE top rated in the whole country but if I do not feel that there is an understanding between us & ability to communicate, then I am not going to go with them. There was only 1 out of the 6 who wanted a fee for the consultation, all based on this PS allegedly being “very busy” & “the best in town”. It was an immediate turn off, and when they called to inform me that the PS would be canceling on ME last minute as they had extended their vacation, I didn’t bother with rescheduling. Anyhow, I digress.. I left Dr Maloney’s office with a quote and felt great about the experience. It was only afterwards that I began doing my research on his background & practice, as I already had put together my own glowing opinion of him. I discovered that he was educated at Columbia, has a Master’s in Business and when it came to focusing in on plastic surgery, he received that portion of his education at Harvard & after working at Mass General where he was chief resident, he returned to my city to build his own practice. He has been awarded the “readers choice” of plastic surgeons 4 years running & is recognized as one of the top surgeons in the US. He is well known for his natural appearing results. As if my experience, plus his background weren’t enough to make me choose him - I also discovered that he also runs the Maloney Nerve Institute & is well known for repairing issues caused by nerve pain in patients who have been told by others that there was nothing more that could be done. This really sealed the deal because I felt as though if anyone will be able to prevent me from losing sensitivity, it will be the PS who is also well versed in repairing “irreparable” nerve damage. I still had two other consultations I was scheduled to attend, however not only were they a month or more out, but I was also absolutely certain that I had found my surgeon.
I called to make my appointment for surgery & chose 6/21. The total cost was 5,100, which I paid in two cash payments although financing is available for those who are interested in making payments on their surgery. They participate with the Brilliance Rewards program & I received points as well as free Botox for myself & a friend of my choice with the purchase of my implants. I was given my pre-op & post-op instructions, which included Dr. Maloney’s personal cell phone number should I have any questions or concerns prior to or after surgery. Yesterday, after a lot more research & witnessing so many women who have experienced “boob greed”, I realized that I wanted to go bigger. I was looking at women who have a similar body type & stats, realizing that the look I envisioned was larger than it initially appeared as what I thought was a D cup was, in fact, a triple D or double F. I did call the office after hours the first night & never received a call back but the message could have been misplaced so the next day, I called Dr. Maloney’s private cell phone & left a voicemail. He got back to me in less than 45 minutes! I explained the situation to him & how, for the price tag I definitely want to be pleased with the results the first time around. He told me that with my body frame, I could handle 550 cc while still appearing natural but anything bigger would distort the natural look. 550 cc still sounded huge to me, so I chose 520 CC and he was able to enter it in to my chart, saying I could come in if I wanted for re-imaging but I chose not to, at this point I trust his judgement & know he will do what’s best for my body. I’m even tempted to simply say that if he feels the 550 looks better while I’m under, by all means go for it. Interesting fact that I was unaware of at the time of my last decision - the woman who’s boobs made me realize that what I wanted was a bigger cup size actually has 520 CCs!
I will write up an update after surgery on the 21st and post the results!

Update? Hope it went well.
Posting an update shortly, I wanted to have a more developed timeline of pics to show some drop and fluff but it went VERY well and I am in love with them!
I have learned my implants gave me breast implant illness :( Be well and watch for signs.
You developed BII that quick? How soon did you see signs? Did you have them removed already? What signs did you experience? Do you plan to update this review? I've been losing hair, experiencing horrible joint pain, brain fog just to name a few.
Sorry to hear your troubles. I hope you feel better soon. Take care dear. Happy continued healing dear.
@Limaboro ** I just realized my above response for you was directed as I thought you were the OP of this review. I will read your review now. **
