Nine months post op, final update
WORTH IT$12,000
I’ve just had my final appointment with Dr Lofts. He was very happy with how I have healed and how my implants are sitting. My scar tissue is soft but is holding my implants really well and they haven’t dropped at all since my last appointment (thankfully!!). So he has discharged me, with instructions to return for a checkup in ten years, and probably to have them replaced in about fifteen years.
I’m still so so happy with how they look. It’s strange looking at my before photos, I can’t remember not having my boobs! I’ve had a couple of moments where I have thought I should have gone with a bigger implant, but I am glad that I went with this size. I think I’ve gotten so used to the size they are now that I sometimes think they could be bigger, but I think that would have given me quite a “fake” look that I was trying to avoid. I’ve heard about boob envy, and it turns out it really is a thing! But it’s only passing, once I come back to my senses, I know this was the right size for me!
The last year has flown by, and I’m so happy I got my implants.
This will probably be my last update, as I don’t imagine that I will have much more to share from this point. Thank you for following my boob journey, and of course still feel free to ask any questions! x.

It honestly feels like I’ve had my implants forever, they feel like such a part of me. I can’t remember life without them, even though it was only four months ago that I had my surgery! I had a check up with Dr Lofts earlier in the week, and he is happy with how I’ve healed and how my implants are looking. My scars are slowly fading and I still couldn’t be happier with my results. I have one more appointment with Dr Lofts in another four months, and I’ll post some final photos then.

They look SO natural!! I would be SO happy too!! :)
Thanks!! x.
yours look great! have you experience any rippling at all? I’m one month in and I have rippling. 320cc motiva. please answer, thanks.
Hi! I’m sorry to hear you have had some rippling. No I haven’t had any rippling yet. That’s not to say it won’t happen in the future, but so far I seem to be ok. Have you spoken with your surgeon about it?
thanks for the response. no, I had my surgery oh if the country and they aren’t very responsible people. do you get the Qid version (a sim indie of the implant)?
That’s no good, sorry to hear that. Are you based in NZ? You could always approach another surgeon and see if they can offer some advice? Yes mine have the chip in them.
I don’t not know why it’s not posing my reply. what’s the placement of your implant? I had dual plane according to the clinic. I’m going to a local hospital to check what the placement of my implant is. I hope it’s real motiva.
I’m currently in Asia, I live in the US.
I’m not sure of my placement sorry. Dual plane rings a bell though? Can’t say for sure though. Let me know how you get on. x.
I want to find out whether is it because of the placement of implant or implant used that’s giving me the rippling. let me know if you ever find out, I would truly appreciate it. thanks for all the responses.
It might be that you have capsular contracture? It’s the most common complication associated with breast augmentation from what I understand. It doesn’t have anything to do with the type of implant though. Have a google and you’ll find out a bit more info on it. x.
I will post pictures, doesn’t look like capsular contracture. just rippling, I can feel it in sitting position.
Hi,’I’ve been following your progress- how are your breasts looking now ? Did you go over the muscle ? I’m deciding if above or under/dual plane .
Hi, I went over the muscle. The plastic surgeon I went with prefers that method, although aside from recovery being easier, I’m not sure why. But so far I think they look great! Same as the last pics- they aren’t changing much at all now that they’ve settled. I’ll post some more pics after my next check up with my doctor in a couple of months. x.
Hello from Australia!
I am so relieved after reading your review!
I'm 1 week post op, I got the 295cc motiva ergonomix as well. I went over the muscle.
I wazfreaking out a bit because it's so hard to find reviews of those who went over the muscle.
Yours look great! I can't wait to see your next update how your doing.
Xx

Hi! It is does certainly seem more common to go under the muscle, but I’m not sure why that is. I think it has something to do with how the implant ends up sitting, but I had enough breast tissue to still achieve a natural look going over the muscle. But I’ll ask my surgeon at my next check up if I remember! I’m happy I went over the muscle and I trust my surgeon made the right decision for me. Thanks for your comment!
I asked my surgeon and he said it's almost like a surgery trend, but he says over the muscle is well suited if you have enough fat tissue and are fairly active.
And if there using motiva silicone there's a low chance of rippling.
Your boobs looks great!
Happy healing!

I will doing mine in three weeks time. Any idea if motiva can last for lifetime ? ( have not approach my surgeon about this qn yet )
They don’t last a life time unfortunately, Motiva recommends replacing them every 10 years. My surgeon replaced some that were 20 years old, but he said he wouldn’t recommend leaving them that long! Let me know what your surgeon suggests! Good luck! x.

The last month has flown by and it feels like I’ve had the new girls forever! I’m still really happy with them and this whole experience has been great. They have softened up a lot, and feel quite natural already. My incisions look fine, a little pink still but they will continue to fade with time. I’m still not allowed to wear an underwire bra for another couple of weeks, and I have to continue applying the tape to my incisions for another week.
I’m really happy I went with 320cc. It’s not totally obvious to people that don’t know that I’ve had my BA done, which is what I was hoping for- they still look like they could be natural I guess is what I’m saying! Dr Lofts has done a fantastic job giving me the results I was after, and I couldn’t be happier with how the whole process has gone!

Thanks hun! x
You have nice cleavage I would be really happy with your results as well! What profile did you go with?
Thanks! They’re high profile.
Wonderful results. Good for you.
Hi! I love the final look! I was recommended to go about the same size. Questions: Did you opt for the full or the demi option? And, did you go over or under the muscle? I look forward to hearing back from you- as I am trying to decided between both elements. Thanks!
thank you! I think my surgeon chose the full projection (I’m not 100% sure on that though!) and they are over the muscle.
