WORTH IT
Hi everyone!
I finally did it — I had my breast augmentation almost two weeks ago! I’ll be sharing updates as I go through the healing process, but for now, I’m 12 days post-op and already so happy with my decision.
I started with a very flat chest, and my surgeon gave me 265 cc implants under the muscle, plus a tiny fat transfer (about 25 cc per side) to make them look softer and more natural. It’s still early, but I’m excited to see how they change and settle over the next few months.
If you’ve been thinking about it, I know how helpful real experiences can be, so I’ll keep posting my journey! ????

I really love how they’re looking! The swelling has gone down some, and I’m very happy with the size. hopefully they don’t shrink any further, I think they’re perfect now
Please ignore this that it won’t let me post if it’s not 200 words:

Three weeks post op

It’s officially been three weeks since my surgery! My left breast is healing beautifully and already looks very natural. My right side is taking a bit longer, since my surgeon placed an internal stitch to close the pocket and keep the implant from shifting outward (because of my slightly uneven sternum).
That side is still tighter and a little swollen toward the side, so it needs more time to loosen up and drop toward the center. I know it’s part of the process, but overall I’m really happy with my progress so far and excited to see how they continue to settle in :)

At first, we discussed going over the muscle, but since I have very little fat, the doctor explained it would look like two tennis balls and not natural. We decided on under the muscle for a softer, more natural look. I’ll take more pics soon for the updates. I work out about 4 times a week, and I’m not too worried about long-term issues since I trust my doctor’s judgment.
Recovery has been smooth, the only real discomfort I had was some back pain the first week. Personally, I’d say go with 265 since the difference between 245 and 265 really isn’t much, and the little extra volume makes a nice difference.
