Coming up on 4 weeks!! Much happier now…

Coming up on 4 weeks!! Much happier now than I was before, naturally. The pain in my right side has gotten worlds better, now it just seems to swell up when I work out. I got back into the gym a day shy of my 3 week mark for cardio, and the next day (3 weeks exactly) I got back into weights for my legs. I lost some ground on how much weight I was able to put up, as expected, but I felt really good with no pain. Today I got back into bench press and such and developed a little discomfort on the right side that I had complained about in a prior post. It seems to swell just a little when under stress, I'm hoping that this subsides with time.
My left breast has dropped some which is nice and things are much softer now. They are looking bigger than they were which is good but I don't think they're going to reach the full C I had asked for sadly. I am happy that they fit my frame and even me out though, I am world better off than I was pre-surgery!

Coming up on 2 weeks now! I feel overall…

Coming up on 2 weeks now! I feel overall very well, considering going back to the gym tomorrow for some light cardio. My nipples are way overly sensitive and I get pain in the outer portion of my right breast under my arm which has been bothering me since surgery basically. Surprising being that the right has the smaller implant and I anticipated it to heal easier than the left which also had the nipple repair! Left side is settling faster and the nipple looks good, happy that all the suffering was worth it. The pain on the right feels almost like the implant slides off to the side or something.. but that might be all in my head of course. I have a follow up on the 28th and if it doesn't stop then I'll bring it up to Dr Epstein. They aren't looking very large but then I assume that as things settle and relax they'll look a lot better. Having a hell of a time getting the dermabond to wear away, I thought it usually lasts like a week but this stuff won't quit!!! I shower daily and even rub some soap over it to try and loosen stuff up, but I feel like it just wont budge. May have to google how to remove it if it hangs on much longer...

Today is post op day 1 and I am in almost…

Today is post op day 1 and I am in almost no pain. The only thing really REALLY bothering me is the medicine cup over the nipple correction on the left. If that wasn't there I would have been fine to even go to work today (I work as a nurse in a very busy office). I found I can somewhat hide it under a baggy work sweatshirt I have so I will be at work tomorrow. I haven't needed any help, I showered on my own yesterday a few hours after surgery with no issues. The cup prevented me from exactly following the recovery plan, I couldn't bring myself to go out to dinner in public like that.
When I first woke up I have a vivid memory of being in a lot of pain, but the anesthesiologist acted really fast and I got IV pain medications. The recovery room was super hot and I was sweating through my clothes which also was less than pleasurable. I was much happier once I got home and into clean clothes and relax for my nap.
I haven't had to take anything stronger than 800mg ibuprofen every 8 hours, but really I could probably even go without that. Just taking it thinking it might help a little with inflammation. Hard to believe I had surgery yesterday!
