So far the pain is starting to get a lot better and bruising has started. The medicine is definitely helping though and I'm glad I have someone to really take care of me. I'm still having a lot of pain moving around and prefer to stay in bed. I had wayyyy too much anxiety about the surgery mainly for being out under but as soon as I was in the operating room I relaxed a little bit and next thing I knew... I woke up with a lot of pressure on my chest... aka, my new boobs!

I decided to get A high profile 380CC implants and fill them to 475CC. My PS said this will help to avoid seeing the ripples and also he said overfilling them would give me the same size I picked with the surgical bra once the implants are under the muscle.

Looking great already! Do you know the size/type implant you got? How's recovery going for you?

Thank you! Recovery this last week has been pretty tough. My implants are sitting really high and my profile is completely uneven but I went for my week post-op today and they taught me how to message them so they can fall.

I was a 32A and went with a High Profile 375CC Saline implant under the muscle. My PS encouraged me to actually fill them up to 475CC because they are under the muscle. I took his advice so I'm at a 475CC.

Went for my 1 week post op today!

I'm pretty bummed that my implants are still SOOO high up. They did show me some massages to do to each breast 5 times a day.

I've been reading up on it and some doctors recommend it and others don't care for it. I got non textured implants so I could massage them to make them softer and make the implant comfortable in their pockets.
What have your PS told you ladies?

Maybe I'll ask to get a band to place on my upper chest if I don't see the massages working to bring them down.

I also was told to get cocoa butter for possible stretch marks. I have noticed that I've been wanting to itch my breasts a little more so I'm taking as many precautions to NOT get stretch marks.

I hope by next week my breasts will drop :(

I was personally told NO massaging. My PS feels it can over stretch the pockets and result in the implant bottoming out and needing a revision surgery! But since I am still SO high (as you saw and commented on) I am wondering if she'll tell me to at some point? The Valium I was prescribed REALLY seems to be relaxing my muscles and I swear they are looking a teensy but fuller...anxious to compare in the next week or two!

Ever since I started massaging them I think I'm starting to see possible stretch marks! I've cut down on the amount of times I've been massaging but I still have not seen ANY less swelling or dropping happening.

I'm removing my stitches tomorrow so I'm going to express my feelings to my PS.
I know Rome wasn't built in one day but I'm so so awfully afraid of them not dropping.

2 Weeks!

I'm feeling pretty good!
I went in yesterday for my 2 week post-op and I got the tape around my nipples off.
My left nipple isn't looking so great but of course with time and scar gel it will look ok.

I was informed to continue to massage the implants so they drop down more.
I've been using cocoa butter location to prevent stretch marks because I have been seeing possible marks BUT I think the lotion is making me break out ????

I go back in two weeks and hopefully by then they'll have dropped a little more.

I've been using coconut oil to prevent stretch marks, it's what I used when I had my kids and it worked for me! (Plus I just have good genes thanks to my mom!) can't wait to continue to see your drop and fluff! They will look great!!

I think I'm going to switch to oil instead. I've stopped using the cocoa butter and stopped breaking out too.

I've started to wear the silicone strips now too to help with my incision on my nipples.

I really hate this waiting game for them to drop but we have to be patient!

I was given a scar gel by my PS but going to ask if I can switch to some sort of scar strips at my 6 wk post op appt. I never remember to apply it 2x a day I'd rather wear a strip! Patience is definitely key. The first 2 weeks I regretting it so much, now only 5WPO (tomorrow) I'm SO happy I did it lol
