The prescription I was given was for…

The prescription I was given was for prodeine forte and on the first day I was taking the recommended dosage (two tablets at a time, four times a day) but after the first day in recovery I don't feel like the pain killers were a necessity. I've been taking two prodeine before bed so I have a good nights sleep and then one in the day if needed but the painkillers make me sleepy and drowsy. I went for a walk with my sister and dog today and while I was walking a lot slower than usual I was happy to be able to get out of the apartment :) I still need help with cooking and I feel a little nauseous but on the whole I'm recovering really well I think!

26 year old 420 cc teardrop

I had my breast augmentation with dr Kevin ho yesterday.

I went into st Luke's in kings cross and was put in a lovely private room. Around 11:20 I was then wheeled into the operation area and spoke with the anatheisus and my doctor. Doctor ho said in my recovery he doesn't give me a prescription for endone unles I really really need it and in that case he will asses why. I was a little shocked as all of my friends were high on endone and xanax and what not during their recovery but he said if I want to drive sooner and recover quicker he suggest just taking panadeine fort.

When I woke up I was in a little bit of pain and the nurse put some sort of liquid into my drip and gave me an endone which knocked me out instantly. When I was moved back to the private recovery room dr ho came and visited me and informed me that he put the 420 cc implants in rather than the 375 cc because he felt that one I was cut open the 420s will give me a full d to dd cup. I was very pleased because I want my breasts to be much bigger than my original b cups but natural shape which is why I went with the tear drop.

I had another little rest and then the nurse came in to check on me. The pain killers had worn off and I complained about being in pain again so he gave me another endone with some food. The combination of endone and food and movement made me vomit 3 times at the hospital. (Sorry for gross details - have discovered I'm not a fan of endone). When we left the hospital at 6pm; again I was so drowsy and was trying so hard to stay awake in the car ride home. I was able to dress myself though and when I got home I showered myself and was moving around which I and my friend was really surprised at since she was in so much pain after her augmentation and could barely move (she went to the cosmetic institute and was in and out in 3 hours).

This morning when I woke up I feel great! I can feel a little soreness and tightness in my muscles but I've been awake for an hour and haven't needed to take a panadeine fort yet which is great! my breasts are numb under the nipple which is normal, my sister was touching the lower part last night and I had no idea!

I'm really excited to have my post op next Monday and get the bandages taken off so I can see my new babies! In the meantime I'll update with any pain or progress :)
