Feeling really great! Back ache gone, boobs feeling more and more normal - I forget I have new boobs most of the time! Only one week left until I can take off sports bra and band... woohoo! I am using scar cream (cicapost) twice a day and scars seem to be diminishing so that’s great.

I hear ya. My back feels better too! Looking great. I agree with you. I also cant wait to take this sports bra off.
So today's the day I can take the sports bra off but of course my order of 'real' bras hasn't yet arrived so am still in the sports bra... typical bad planning hahah!
Update on how they’re looking now?:)
Your post really sounds so similar to me! 39yrs old and booked in for 3 weeks. All my reasons for surgery are exact same. Going for 235 full profile and slightly terrified going to be too perky! How are you feeling now?

2 weeks post-surgery

This past week has made such a difference in terms of comfort! I saw my doc Monday and he said scars are coming along nicely and told me to use Cicapost scar cream for the next few months. I feel back to normal in terms of movement and the back pain has pretty much disappeared. They are already much softer than I thought they would be but still have a ways to drop. I'm cleared to sleep on my side as well - wahey! The difference between the first week and the second week is enormous in terms of physical discomfort. Just two weeks to go until I can start working out a bit :)

Oh my god they look so good! I hope mine look that good in a week, we have the same size and I am mod plus as well. Glad to hear the physical discomfort gets better!
Ah thanks! I’m so pleased with them so far :)
Did you do any massages or just leave them alone? I have to wear a sports bra 24/7 besides showering until week 3. I'm guessing mine will take longer to drop unfortunately as I haven't had any children.
I gently rub jojoba oil in morning and night but doc said massage not necessary. One more week until I can take off sports bra and band... hallelujah!

One week post-surgery

So the most uncomfortable part of all of this has been the back ache! I really don't like sleeping on my back and have struggled to get comfortable all week. The boobs are feeling better and better each day though and I'm already glad I did it. My left is dropping slower than my right and they both still kind of look like torpedoes but at least I can see/feel progress daily which is all I'm looking for right now. Off the meds which feels much more normal and now just waiting for the tummy bloating to subside...

Hello!!! Thank you for posting your journey! I too, am a petite mama in her late 30s looking to ‘restore my body to its former glory’ and am glad I found someone with similar size and weight and age. Please keep your updates coming! I’m scheduled for Jan 23 and the anticipation is killing me!
Hiya! I'm planning on doing them weekly for the first month and then monthly after that :) It makes it so much easier knowing what's ahead... this site has been such a great resource during this whole process! I'll do my 2 week update for you now :)
I'm so happy I went through with it! Only wish I'd done it sooner... but then perhaps that wouldn't have been great with babies and breastfeeding... ;) Best of luck with your surgery!!
