9 months post op - Scar Update

Scars have lightened up a lot since the first update. I used Mederma for the first couple months post-op. Due to my skin type, I’m more prone to keloid scarring which explains why they are more visible and appear raised!

My only issue now is that I have stretch marks like crazy on both sides but I’ve researched that cocoa butter is good for them so perhaps I’ll try that :)

6 months PO

It’s been a little over six months since the procedure! The girls are dropping nicely and I’m getting more comfortable with how they look :).
Overall I’m happy with the size I got and have learned to give things a little time before questioning your decision. This has been quite a journey y’all!
Good luck to everyone on their own personal journeys!

2 months & 2 weeks Update - Looking more like boobies!

I took some time from updating because there wasn’t much change since my last update at 3 weeks. But looking back at my photos I think there’s been some progress since week 3!

Changes I see/feel currently:
- They are A LOT softer, rounder
- The numbness is very minimal, I have almost ALL sensation back in both of my lower breast areas
- They do not sit as high they did in the earlier weeks
- I get “zingers”, the prickling pains, sometimes but nothing unbearable
- I got my stitches out a couple days after I last updated. I had to keep the dressings on my incisions for a couple weeks after. My PS said because of my skin type (naturally tan) I have a higher chance of keloid scarring and darkened scars. After I was cleared to take my dressings off, I’ve been applying Mederma everyday since. My scars are relatively dark right now (as you can see in the pictures above)... I plan to continue Mederma and possibly some whitening products much later on when my boobs have settled in more

I’ve also been working out regularly since month 1, mostly my lower body. I actually did a full chest workout a couple weeks ago and felt fine. Of course, there was some tightness but nothing painful.

In earlier posts I remember saying I wish they were bigger, but I actually like the size I’m at now. Can’t wait until they’re at their full potential! Overall it’s going well :)
