Day 6 post op - have been wearing strapping tape

Feeling slightly more confident with them but still raised in the middle. I have been wearing strapping tape so hopefully this has helped. I still think they look huge for 245cc though. Is this due to swelling? Will they go smaller?

Day 4 post op - another case of symmastia ?

Day 4 post op and I can’t help but feel unhappy about them despite it been early days. I already feel like I did on my original BA - that the middle part is raised and they look strange. I’m paranoid about another case of ‘symmastia’. They don’t look at all what I envisioned to say this was the ‘smallest’ size I could go for my chest wall. They feel heavy, look strange and just not at all what I imagined :( considering calling the surgeon Monday to explain how I feel?!

I’m also in a lot of pain on my right side when I remove my compression garment. Did anyone else feel this way?

245cc Subglandular (Over the Muslce) Motova Ergonomix Round Saline Mini Implants .

My story is a long one but I think worth posting encase anyone has once had breast surgery ‘under the muscle’ and had them removed like me & re-done ‘over the muscle’/subglandular.

I first had a BA when I was 19 - far too young & didn’t research at all. It was a mistake looking back. They never looked right , they were too big for my frame & the muscle they cut into got badly damaged - every time I tensed my chest they looked strange & they gradually began to join into a ‘uniboob’ & my left nipple veered off to the right. I ultimately had them removed free of charge (this was all with Transform Manchester). They offered to put them back in smaller (also free of charge) but I didn’t do this as I felt traumatised by the experience & planned on starting a family in the short to mid-term anyway so it felt like bad timing & I didn’t want to end up hating them again.

Fast forward 6 years (birthed & breast fed 2 children) & my boobs are looking quite sad (picture attached). I have vitiligo hence the nipple discolouration - that had nothing to do with the BA previously. I started discussing with my husband the prospect of having implants back in, which he was on board with as long as I did my research and was 100% sure. We discussed fat transfer but for my age (30) it probably wouldn’t last longer term. I booked appointments with Spire Healthcare & went to see Dr George Spyro. He knew exactly what had happened with my previous BA just from looking at my muscle displacement on my chest when I tensed (I didn’t even have to tell him which impressed me how knowledgable he was from just one glance). He advised that he (nor anyone else) should risk touching those muscles again. They had been traumatised, were now in a different place on my chest and it could cause a whole world of issues and outcomes if we went ‘under the muscle’. He said I did have just enough pinch to go over the muscle despite being fairly petite and of course did warn me about the potential outcomes of this though with potentially seeing the implant. We therefore chose this option but chose a small implant 245cc , 11.5cm chest width & Ergonomix Round Saline Mini implant by Motiva.

My biggest worry is because they are over the muscle they will look really fake & obvious but we shall see - it was this or nothing. I weighed up my pro’s and cons and went for it!

I am 30 years old, 5ft 5, 57kg.
