First Post-op Appt

7 day post-op visit: Everything went well and is progressing as it should. My surgeon actually wants to take the stitches out at 14 days post-op, so that will be next week. I am starting to do massages now.

Pre & Post Pics

Here are a few pictures. I personally didn’t find clothed pictures to be very helpful so I didn’t post any of those. I had a hard time finding reviews and pics of smaller implants so I hope someone finds this helpful! I’ll add more later on.

240 Cc Moderate Profile Submuscular Implants

Pre-op Stats: 5'9"
125-130 pounds
BWD: 10.5-11 cm

Closest fitting bra was 32 B but might be more accurately an A cup; I tended to wear bralettes or no bras instead of bras with measured cups

Also, I have mild pectus excavatum on one side, which means my chest is slightly sunken in on one side which added a little extra challenge to my case

Goals:

Larger breasts while still maintaining a more natural shape and appropriate size for my frame. I know cup size change is difficult to predict and can look different on different body types, but I was hoping for about a 2 cup increase to be a full C cup or small D cup.

Consultation/ Pre-op:

I really liked my surgeon and trusted his insight. I liked that his results tended to have a more natural appearance. He was clearly very experienced and able to answer all of my questions fully and he made me feel very comfortable. He was honest and direct about my physical limitations and what kinds of results I could expect. He initially recommended a 210 cc or 240 cc due to my small BWD and my mild pectus excavatum. The sunken chest I have does not bother me but I also did not want to make it significantly more pronounced. It also contributes to an asymmetrical appearance of my breasts, but the degree of which is personally acceptable to me. Most breasts aren't perfectly even and I think it tends to stand out more in pictures when you are over analyzing than it does in person.

I was concerned that this smaller size implant wouldn't give me the size increase that I wanted. I asked my surgeon about getting closer to a 300cc size, and he did give me the option of going with a 275cc implant with a full profile. In his opinion, for me that would give a more apparently augmented look, especially on my breast with the sunken chest. For me, I would prefer to have a slightly smaller, more natural end result than a larger, more obviously augmented result. So I opted to go for the 240cc moderate profile, especially since a 35cc difference isn't that big anyway. My surgeon predicted this would give me about a 1.5 cup increase.
