My name is Jasmin and I got a boob job done yesterday. I did 350 ccs on both sides under the muscle. I was a 34 A before and I did use padded bras . The biggest bra I cold used was a padded 34 b. I have two kids and each pregnancy I had, my boobs would go to a C and I loved them !!! After my pregnancies and after breast feeding my breast shrunk and I knew that I wanted to get them done when I was ready . On 3/5?/2019 I went in for my first consultation with Dr. Wilcox in Plano. My mother in law Rachel is the coordinator so I had a fun experience. It was a very relaxing environment when I stepped in and I was taken to a very relaxing room with a book that showed different pictures of surgeries he had done . Rachel stepped back in and took me to the other side of a wall where I could undress and put a robe on . I got to sit back down in a comfy chair and wait for dr. Wilcox to step in . He was very helpful and asked if I knew anything about implants . I did let him know I did some research and he explained how saline is filled with salt water and silicone is like gummy bear and how if I cut it in half there is no gel that comes out that everything stays in tact . Silicone is more expensive but I decided to go with that . Rachel stepped back in as he measured my breast . He recommended me 325 ccs and told me it would not hurt his feelings if I decide decide to go bigger. He let Rachel grab me a small shirt and a small sports bra with a few implants to try underneath my sports bra. We also put a shirt over so I could see what they look like with my shirt over. I loved the 350 ccs . Rachel offered to take a picture for me so I can remember what the size I chose looks like on me . To lock in my surgery date I put $500 down and would pay the remaining 5100 at my pre op. So my total was 5600 it is usually 6100 but in March there was a $500 off special . My pre op was 3/15/2019 when I went in , I paid first and we went over a lot of paper work it took about 45 minutes to complete paperwork and take pictures . It actually probably took longer for me since I had billing issues .. (when I was paying the 5100 I didn’t realize I needed to call my bank first to approve the amount to be withdrawn 1st my limit was 5000) Anyways ! I put on a robe because I opted in on having photos taken of my before and after . We scheduled my actual surgery for 3/22 I was given 2 pills and cleansing soap . My instructions were to take one pill the night before surgery and the morning of surgery . Same with the soap I had to shower and scrub my breast with the soap or 3-4 minutes the night before and the morning of surgery . Time went by fast and before you know it the time was here ! I followed instructions and didn’t eat after 12 I actually had my last dinner at 9:30 so when I woke up I was starving ! My surgery started at 10 am but I had to be there by 9:30 am . Everyone was so nice ... I got my I.V put in and they took my pregnancy test which did come out negative so we were ready to go . The doc came in marked my lines at the creases since that is where I wanted my incisions to be and I was escorted to lay on a flat table which had a heated pad underneath . I felt so warm ! The anesthesiologist put a tube over my mouth and nose with some oxygen and asked me to take some deep breaths. he was talking to me and and as I was talking it hit me and I was out . I woke up in a different room I had boobs ! my boobs were burning at first !!!! A nurse let me have a sip of some cold water and I felt better. I remember having so much pain and I was scared that I was going to feel like this for my recovery !! Truth is , most of the pain was in my back for being on that flat bed ! So when I was able to get some help sitting up and walk around with some help that back pain went away and I realized the only pain I had was the pressure on my chest and boobs on fire . I got to take pain medicine which did reduce it so overall within 30 minutes after waking up I felt way better and only felt chest pressure which is nothing . No pain just discomfort . I woke up with a surgical bra that supported my new boobs and I felt great . One thing everyone should know is that you need to have gatorades and food reachable for when you get home because you can not raise your arms up ! You have to be like a T. rex .. you can pee by yourself you can slowly pull sweats down a bit and wipe and put them back on just don’t put them down To your ankles .. my daughter had to help me tie my shoes and everything . I decided to have my parents watch the kids for two days so I can bed rest. I keep track of taking my pain meds and my muscle spasm meds . I have not taken nausea medicine because I do not feel nauseous. I also have meds to take day after which I will look at in a bit because now today is the day after surgery . Right now I drink Snapple’s with a straw and pretzels . The medicine I take knock me out so for now I am going to catch some zzzzs. I’ll update later on . Oh also I forgot you can’t push pull or lift . This morning I forgot I had boobs and my alarm went off I tried to push myself up and collapse back on my pillows . Now my jaws kind of hurt but it went away after eating more pretzels and putting a cold pack on the side of my boob by my armpit. Idk how my jaws hurt because of trying to push my self up with my arms either ... I have no clue .My incisions don’t hurt only the sides of my boobs by my armpit but it’s not unbearable . Just take our meds . I’m feeling sleepy . By for now .
