ORIGINAL POST

24 - 5'6 - 115lb - 285CC Ultra High Profile Mentor

Been a month since I got my breast augmentation. I was wearing a 32A bra, but even that never really fitted well. I went in for a consultation and Dr Brown said it would be under the muscle, under the breast incision, silicone, and round high profile. I did some research prior to my consultation so I wasn't really surprised with his recommendation. I later on booked my surgery date and came in a month later to choose my sizing and get my blood work form. I told Nurse Tanya I would like to be a C cup. She puts the medical bra and inserted 335 CC. It looked way too big and was like spilling the implant on the side... I try 285 CC... BAM. This was the size! I did ask why there isn't more sizing in between 285-335 but apparently Mentor doesn't make that. I would've probably just chose 300 if I could.
On surgery day, due to COVID my boyfriend could only drop me off at the front of the surgery centre. Surgery went smoothly, I walked into the OR room at 3pm and woke up in the post OP room at 5. I felt super cold, so they put a Air heated blanket on me. The IV was hurting my hand and I was angled a bit off so I needed help to move a bit up. I felt pretty energized by the time I got home, didn't feel nauseous or anything. Took a painkiller and slept on the couch. Woke up the next morning pretty sore, took a T3 after breakfast and was doing some errands with my boyfriend. My first post op appointment was 7 days after and then my second pot op appointment was 12 days after. HAD MY FIRST OFFICIAL SHOWER ON THE 12TH DAY!! Was a bit tight trying to wash my hair. Other than that, I felt that I was good to go within two weeks.
It been a month now, I can sleep on them no problem. My rib cage on both side still feels a bit bruised. I get little zaps here and there. I'm massaging it everyday. Started incision tape last week, and changing it once a week. Next appointment is in another 1.5 months. Scar is pretty faint, and is straight.
Verdict for now.. I love them!!! I never really wore v necks because having no boobs there just didn't look as great. I was always confident with my body before boobs, but now just enhances that. Still a bit shy to just wear a tight fitting top without wearing a coat at work. They look so natural, like my body was suppose to have these size boobs! This was an amazing decision. I am so happy !!!

Thankyou for sharing. You look great! I'm 5'7" and 120 Lb. and starting out with a small, deflated Bcup after 3 nursing babies. I am struggling a bit with the size I want to go, not wanting to go so big for my frame. I felt like 250cc sizers looked big on me at my consult and decided 225ccs would be ideal but I'm afraid now that I'll be disappointed that I didn't go bigger. I know there are so many factors that go into this decision and I'm going to have to trust my surgeon to make the final size tweaks but your input has made me a little more comfortable with the 250, as I was on the fence. I appreciate you sharing your experience and photos. If my result is anything at all like yours, I will be so happy. Thankyou!
Good luck!!! Glad I could help
I' so happy to read such a positive review! Can you give any updates? Or pictures? I'm debating between exactly what you got and a moderate plus profile 295 cc. I had imaging done for the 285 but am worried the high profile is too projected. Having new vectra imaging this week with moderate. I'm 5'6" 120 34A barely. Would be helpful to see how yours have "dropped & fluffed", also going dual plane (under the muscle/subpectoral). Thank you in advance!
Just posted a reply!! I had nothing there before my surgery, my only option was UHP because my chest wasn't wide enough for the other options. No regrets at all. I wanted it to be natural and not super obvious I got something done and this was it!! Can't wait to see your results !!
They look great! Totally what I’m aiming for. I guess I’ll have to make a decision this week. It was easier to pick my kids names than this!
