Do not recommend. Disappointed and frustrated.
I ended up developing capsular contracture in my right breast and an animation deformity in my left breast.
First to address the capsular contracture. I understand that capsular contracture is always a risk when it comes to breast augmentation but mine developed less than 3 months post op and I have received second opinions from other surgeons stating that they’re shocked to see how quickly mine developed post op (but that it is definitely CC). Again, this could be just me being shit out of luck and experiencing CC way earlier than anyone else, but considering the other issues with my surgery I wouldn’t be surprised if this wasn’t completely random.
On the non CC side, my scar healed extremely strangely. The area between the raised part of my nipple and the scar is basically completely indented, it looks like my nipple collapsed in on itself. As you can tell from the pictures it has been like this from the beginning. I brought this up and actually came in for an extra follow up because I was concerned about it. Dr Terry looked at it for probably less than 30 seconds and said it’ll be fine with time and not to worry about it. I think at the time I wanted to believe that so badly that i felt it was fine that he barely addressed my concerns as long as I heard what I wanted to hear. Unfortunately, I should have trusted my gut bc it basically hasn’t changed over the past 3 months. On top of that, the scar seems to be tethered to my muscle so my breast moves completely unnaturally if I flex my pec muscle.
Lastly, what I was most disappointed by was the after care experience with the dr and office. I was given the number of one of the nurses in the office to text if I ever had any questions. She was pretty nice and generally responsive but again didn’t seem to take any of my concerns seriously. I felt the same thing when I came to the office for follow ups, every time I waited for over an hour past my appointment only to see Dr terry for 5 minutes and him to dismiss all my concerns. (This was the complete opposite to pre-op. ) I voiced my concerns and he acted like it wasn’t a big deal ( I think anyone who sees these photos would agree that this is not an ideal outcome) When it
was confirmed that I had capsular contracture it had to come from me repeatedly telling them that what my breast looks like can’t be normal. When I asked about potential treatments they barely responded (they only texted me again to ask me to verify some Botox coupon, like wtf??).
Even if most of Dr Terry’s surgeries don’t end up in the zsnf, terry doesn’t end in the disaster
I really don’t mean to write this review to bash Dr Terry. However I did have this experience and wanted others who might go to Dr Terry or be warned that this could happen to them in as honest of a way as possible. Additionally, hopefully this will help In their ability to think more about their patients, even post op.

Patience
Mostly updating to compare photos, as it’s hard to notice changes day to day. I’ve been wearing silicone sheets basically 24/7. Still waiting on the right boob to drop more, I also think once that happens that nipple will be pointing down a little less. Right now the area under neath my nipple feels oddly empty, like there’s space for the implant it just hasn’t quite dropped in yet. I think the photos make everything look way more uneven then real life, which is odd. Especially is actually say my right boob looks bigger than the left in person but in photos it looks smaller (and no that’s not from from me getting the inversion wrong) ! Trying to stay patient :/ any suggestions on anything to do other than time and massage? I don’t think there’s anything to be worried about even though I am impatient but should they be evening out faster?
Being patient
PS said I don’t have anything to worry about and I just need to stay patient and keep massaging. I think the asymmetry is getting better? I’ve been massaging the tighter nipple a lot but thinking maybe that’s causing the left side to drop a little earlier. Anyways I have faith! Presuming the asymmetry gets better as the scars heal I think I’m still happy with going the periareolar incision route as I have skin that scars very easily but I’ve been happily surprised with how seamlessly the scars are camouflaged around the nipple (and given how I didn’t go very big, underneath the fold wouldn’t have been hidden at all since I still don’t have a fold haha)
