New Implant!
WORTH IT$4,113
I've gone back and forth so much, that this isn't even a surprise anymore!
Brand/Type: Mentor, round, memory gel, cohesive II
Volume: 275cc
Dimensions: moderate profile, 12.6cm width, 3.1cm projection (called moderate profile, but projection would be considered low profile in other brands)
Surface: Textured (microtextured). Mentor calls it siltex
Quite similar to the Polytech one, but this one is microtextured (less ALCL risk), and better warranty. I haven't felt this brand and type of implant actually, so i am quite a little concerned about the feel but i will trust my surgeon on this.

Consult and Vectra
Decided on implant finally!
Polytech textured round low profile 270cc. Implant is 12.5cm wide, 3.2cm projection.
Dr speculates that i'll be around a D cup. Hopefully it's a small D cup!
Started taking 300mg of magnesium (in the form of magnesium citrate) and 1000mg of vitamin c daily with dinner since 2 weeks pre op. It's supposed to heap with muscle and skin healing apparently, and i'll keep taking it until 2 weeks post op.

Forgot to mention: Dual plane placement and using keller funnel!
I got polytech too(diagon gel).My doctor said they are the best now. I got 245cc high profile (i have practically no breast tissue).
I am in week 7 post op. We can keep in touch to follow our healings.
Very good luck with your surgery!!

Thank you! I actually just changed implants again. I don't know anyone who's gotten their boobs done, so I would love to keep in touch! Do you feel like they're a part of you by now and are you back to the way you felt pre op in terms of comfort? How was your recovery? I've heard it's easier if you've had kids before, so it'll probably be really bad for me :(
I wont lie to you, the recovery is not easy. You have ups and downs. Its a physical and mental adjustment. I have seen your pics and i think your actual breasts are very beautiful. How ever, this is a personal desition and if you want to have the surgery go for it !!! Stick on your desition and keep strong! There are other girls on the real self site to whom you can relate better than me. Girls of your age and no children. Still, i can be here to give you some support, of course! :) I have found this site very helpful in that sense, its not only information but there is a lot of support between us, too.
My breast are not yet very soft and sometimes i get afraid of them staying that way but i am working on just get calm and be patient.
Big hug

I've heard this opinion that girls with kids have it easier. I have no kids and had no pain issues (to the extent that I din't even need simple paracetamol). Also had a variation of dual plane. Now I think it is the surgery technique that can be less or more painful plus the individual pain perception. If you are prepared for the worst, chances are it'll be better than what you expect :p

Pre op photos
Current situation:
Underbust: 27.5 inches
Bust: 32 inches
Waist: 24 inches
As you can see, i have a moderately sized gap between my boobs. Hoping it looks better after surgery.
On another note, i've searched for how the whole nipple piercing situation will go down. Some people say their surgeon left them in and taped it over, others say it was taken out. I really want to keep them :(

I have been working and studying so much that i stop thinking in the evolution of my breasts and that is so great. Let your body heal on its time .
