I have a surgery date set for July 5th, 2018. Just 2 days after my 22nd birthday so that I can get the silicone implants! My surgeon told me at the consultation that with my height and body type, the max amount of cc's that he is willing to put will be 375ccs. They will be moderate plus profile, under the muscle. He said he was rather conservative compared to Beverly Hills surgeons, as I am traveling from Los Angeles to Denver in order to get my surgery done. My parents live in Denver and are able to provide that I will need post op. A little worried, even after my consultation, in terms of how I'm going to arrange traveling back. Especially because I'll somehow have to transport my suitcase without using arm strength. If anyone has experience with traveling for their surgeries, I'm open to any tips!

Surgery 4 days away!!!!

As the days go on I’m getting more and more anxious for the surgery. I’ve been spending hours of my time watching endless YouTube videos of testimonials and post-op vlogs so that I can see youtubers’ results. I think what I’m freaked out about the most is going into my pre-op appointment in the next 2 days and making sure the surgeon knows EXACTLY what I’m wanting. At the consultation I was a little overwhelmed by all of the information and in the whirlwind I didn’t really get the chance to show him any of my “wish boob” photos. Given that my surgeon said that he’s fairly conservative in terms of sizing, I’m a little worried that the size he chose for me will be too small. Hoping that I don’t have unrealistic expectations. I’m also quite worried about the moment that I see my new boobs for the first time. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and since it’ll take a long time to see the real results I know I’m probably going to feel a bit discouraged seeing them in their “frankenboob” stage.

Day of treatment
Day of Surgery!

Today I had my surgery scheduled at 2:30 and we didn’t actually go into the operating room until about 3pm. I had 2 different nurses come in to prep me for the operation, as well as the anesthesiologist. All of them were wonderful to me! The original nurse who administered the IV was an expert because she only had to poke me once. Then she reassured me that would be the worst part because at that point i took a long lasting painkiller. I spoke with the surgeon and ended up deciding on going the full 400 ccs even though he was leaning towards 375. I just didn’t want the swelling to go down too much and be disappointed about the size. The nurse then brought me straight back to the operating room, which had windows where i could see the trees and sky which was a relief and made it seem less unfamiliar! Then she told me she was going to give me a drug to relax me and that’s when I started seeing double and I don’t remember anything after that, even though i was expecting her to tell me when I was going to be put to sleep! Woke up with a tiny bit of pain and dehydration, and my parents came back to visit within 30 seconds of me coming fully into consciousness.
Anyways, at first glance it didn’t really look like my boobs were much bigger but my mom and the nurse insisted they were and they were actually clear up to my collarbone. A surprisingly smooth recovery so far!! Hopefully i can get a good first nights sleep.
