2 days post-op breast augmentation - can't wait to see progress

4 days post op. Still very sore and hard to bend over, clothe myself. Managed to shower today with little help from my hubby. Check up appointment is tomorrow morning at 10. I’m anxious to hear what Dr. Burns thinks. I think they look awesome already. I have a little spot of numbness on my left breast near my armpit, but think that subside with time. Super happy.

My procedure was scheduled for 2/17/22. I arrived at the surgery center at 545 am. Everyone was so nice to me. The first person I saw signed me in, verified my identity, and brought me back to my pre op room. I had a heated recliner to relax in until my procedure. The took a brief health history just to confirm my chart info. The anesthesia doc came in and explained her role in my procedure and started my IV which was painless. She also started a bag of IV fluids. Dr. Burns came in and confirmed again what the game plan was, marked his lines on my chest to guide his surgery. Then it was go time. My anesthesia doctor and my surgery nurse came to get me and walk me into the OR. I laid down in the table and they covered me with blankets. My anesthesia doctor gave me versed to relax me a bit, and honestly that’s all I remember.

In post anesthesia, was when the pain hit. I felt like I couldn’t breath. It felt like something was sitting in my chest and I just couldn’t get a deep breath. I could see my surgeon sitting super close to me so that was reassuring that he was within 10 of me as I was waking up. It took me a bit to get my bearings, but my nurse was right there at my head the entire time… she gave me water as much as I needed to get me feeling better… I couldn’t have asked for anything better than the treatment be had so far. Dr Burns is truly a skilled professional angel straight from heaven. I took my bra off today to see myself and I’m already extremely excited about what he was able to accomplish for me. Between what I saw today and my overall was expectations, I’m 90% there 48 hours in… I highly recommend Dr. Burns and his staff. I can’t wait to see my progress!!
