I know it seems when we have our drains in for such a long time there is nothing else we can think off and being women we would like nothing more than to get up and moving. I am 3 wks and 2 days po now and still feel like my journey is a long one, but please take it easy!! Enjoy your recovery and enjoy the help you have. Happy healing!!

Oh my goodness I wasn't expecting that. But I so needed it! Thank you so much. I really am doing my best to have a good attitude about this. I'm 33 years old and have a 14 yr old and a 9 yr old and I recently had a hysterectomy with full repair and it was awful. So I'm trying to be a much better patient this time around. So thank you again for your encouraging words.

I'm 10 days out and went for my first follow up appt. on Tuesday. The doc told me I could just wash the tape off in the shower. So the next day I slowly removed it. :-) And I still have one of my drains in. I don't go back until 15 days PO, maybe I'll get that one out then. But it's still producing a lot so I'm cool with that, would rather the fluid come out than stay in me.

Ya I do agree with that. That's one thing I do not want to have to get aspirated. So I know it's what's best I just am trying my best to have patience and not let it get me down.

You look really good! I dont think your belly buttons crooked I think you still have a little swelling left in the front.

Looks good. I can see the swelling going down. Ur still going to be swollen for a while. I heard walking helps

Zenbody I wish I could walk I still have these dang drains in and every time I see my ps he asks me if I'm staying down....ugh!

You look great! That's great you incision is healed closed. I cant wait for mine to be! Im a few days ahead of you & I still have a small spot open.
