Hi ladies.. I've been so nervous, scared, upset,...

Hi ladies.. I've been so nervous, scared, upset, and unsure of my upcoming surgery. I regret ever ever getting my breast implants... I had a small size b and decided to get 374 saline cc when I was 24.. Little did I know that this would be the biggest mistake of my life! I've had 4 reconstructive surgeries, saline to silicone, 375 to 300 ccs, and have done the protein matrix. Literally I've spent so much money.. More importantly so much emotional distress and time. My body is rejecting the implant and I've had severe capsular contracture. Every time I decided to go under, was in hopes of getting normal soft breasts. After 10 years and 4 surgeries, I still have hard deformed breasts.
I'm tired of these things taking over my life and now am scared of keeping them in my body.!
I waited for my son to start walking. And have made the decision to do implant removal. Dr said I don't need a a lift, just nipple reconstruction. I'm afraid and so nervous.. Am I doing the right thing??
My surgery is this wed. Hopefully my results will be ok.. And I'll finally be back to old self and be happy again.
I'll post pics for those of you are suffering from capsular contracture. :))

Looks like you already had a periaerolar lift? Did you? If so I look forward to seeing your breasts post op as I had this lift with implants to and I could see how mine might look post removal

Yes i have before.. Thank you so much! Im so scared... Will keep you posted with new pics.. :)

It sounds like you know what the right decision is. Just know that the immediate post op period is not representative of your final results. If in fact you do have some deformity in the long run this could definitely be fixed with fat transfer. You can read one women's journey here on RS that had the misfortune of explant deformity but just see from the pics that she is fine now...I also spoke with her personally as she lives nearby. I look forward to keeping up with your progress to explant!

I'm also considering removing my implants. I've had one revision done thinking that will be it. Now, it looks like i will need a second revision. I was never 100% happy with the size, they're too large for my frame. Best of luck and speedy recovery.

Day of treatment

34 years old and going on 5th surgery!!! Finally removing implants

Elie1111
My surgery went well today. I was under for 1.5 hrs and dr Corbin did a implant removal with ariola revision. I was crying and so afraid and was very attempted to leave!.. I'm glad I didnt. I'm praying this to be my last and final breast surgery!! I Can't ever expect my breasts to be beautiful and back to normal (10 years ago).. But I just couldn't live with them!
I have my implants and they are silicone 350cc and I didn't realize how heavy they were! I'm 5.6 and weigh 116. I'm wondering if my back and neck pain will go away. Let's see
Day 1: not in so much paid and prob the best surgery out of 5. Scared to see what my breasts look like... Am I going to be saggy with deformities?!?! All I can do at this point is pray. Will post pics after bandages are gone

Well done.. Just have faith at least the pain is gone and u will now feel free. Has anyone else heard that having implants out, will make u lose weight?? As this is what I heard..
March 12, 2015
I've heard that. I'm sure it has a lot to do with getting your body back in balance. I'll let the world know soon enough :)

If you have really big implants & little to no breast tissue, I think it's a given that you'd lose a few pounds or so. But a lot of women have a lot of their natural breast tissue left so may not lose much. For me personally, I lost only 8oz with both 330cc's out and have already gained it back, four days later. I think it really depends on both factors of how much natural breast tissue you have left and how big the implants are.

4 days post implant removal and still scared!

Elie1111
It's my 4th day post implant removal. My recovery is perfect.. I took off my bandages today and I was crying.. Was afraid to see the results. My husband has been so supportive and thinks they look so much better! I feel lighter.. Breasts are wrinkly and saggy.. Will it get better over time????

I Hope so, Iam wanting to do the same thing. Done with the implants! If you had a lift why is there sagging? Also I was worried about the pockets the implants are in, does it leave indents?
March 15, 2015
I had a implant removal with a ariola reconstruction. I think they gave me a semi lift by taking out excess skin. Good luck!

You look so, so good already (look at all that breast tissue!) & will look fabulous when you're totally healed! Since you didn't have a lift the skin is wrinkled and saggy on you from years of implants. Once that starts to retract though it'll disappear and - perfection!
March 15, 2015
Hi use the compression bra there is some loose skin but this helps for the retraction. I had the same problem in the down side of breast but it helped really lot;-) be patient. I am 6 weeks now it is ok already;-)
March 15, 2015
Thanks! did you wear the bra day and night? I Just bought another compression bra
