I just wanted to give a review of my experience...
I just wanted to give a review of my experience with Dr. Corbin. I haven't had any work done yet, just the consult for BA with a lift.
I went in this week to have a consult about breast implant and I figured I also needed a lift. I am 33, no kids, 5'3", 111lbs, currently a 32b(ish). I say "32bish" because over the course of about a year I lost about 30lbs. I am lucky and I gain weight all over if I do so it could be worse. However, with the last 10lbs I lost all of the fullness in my breasts. And worse they were just looking and feeling very deflated. I've always been asymmetric but it's now really noticeable. Because of age and the change in my weight I have just lost elasticity in my breasts and it's really bothering me. I'm fine with having smaller breasts by today's standards but I have always been super happy with the shape of my breasts- until now. I waited about 6 months before I started researching BA, hoping that somehow the skin would tighten up. No such luck.
Anyway, I met with Dr. Corbin and I really feel good about the procedure. Some on here have critiqued his bedside manner as being impersonal, I found him to be the exact opposite. He was patient, thorough and even though he has answered the same questions hundreds of times from all of his patients at no time did I feel anything but encouraged to ask them. He gave me more info than I had thought of and offered answers to questions I hadn't thought of. I felt he spent all of the time that he needed to with me. I REALLY appreciated him not telling me what size to choose. I have to live with the size that I choose on a daily basis so I will be the one choosing the size. Now, of course I would expect his input regarding my asymmetry for getting the right CC's on each breast. But the general size really should be more the patients choice in my opinion. The ladies at the office were very nice and also answered all of my questions. I just wanted to write this review for anyone that is thinking about meeting Dr. Corbin. He was very straight to the point, courteous, knowledgable and from what I gathered a perfectionist. I'd recommend you meet with him if you're interested in having work done. I will update if I'm able to do the BA.
