After researching for about 3 or so years, I’m finally ready to move forward with my journey. I have 2 kids, 9 and 4. Both kids were huge for me. I’m only 5’0”. They were 8lbs 13oz and 9lbs 8oz. After my daughter (9) my stomach never bounced back. I had loose skin that hung over. It only got worse with my son. So after he was a year old I started researching. Unfortunately, my mother passed in 10/2017 and it definitely took a toll on my weight loss. Once her 1 year anniversary came around, it hit me like a ton of bricks and my weight skyrocketed. I got up to 168 last I checked the scale. I went up to a size 13 pants (never happened to me before). That’s when I decided to lose weight and get fit. I’m working with a personal trainer and he has me dieting and doing intermittent fasting. I’m down to 137-138 lbs and in a size 7 pants. I have decided to go with Dr. Dass. He’s been my top doctor since I started researching. My pre-op is scheduled in a few days, 6/20/19. I’m so nervous but definitely ready to have my pre-mom body back. My lab work is done, jut waiting for pre-op appointment and surgery day. I’m scheduled for surgery on 7/11/19. Wish me luck! ????

20 days pre
Pre-op appointment
I had my pre-op appointment today. It went well. I was very excited. I didn’t get to see Dr. Dass but I met with his nurses. I paid the balance on the surgery, signed all the administrative documents. Then they had me put on the underwear they provide so they can take the “before” pictures. Afterwards, the nurse went over all of the post-op instructions along with the list of prescriptions to fill. I was provided with arnica gel and tablets, stool softener, nausea meds and antibiotics. I got measured for my garment. I was told since I’m having the tummy tuck with the bbl I would not be put into a garment for the first week. I will have the drains along with a binder and a garment for my bra roll Lipo. Once drains are out, I will be given the garment to wear for the remaining 5 weeks. I’m so excited! Just 21 days left!

Surgery day and Post op day 1
Hi guys, so surgery was yesterday at 6am. I got there, did a urine test, they took my vitals. Dr. Dass then came in and marked me up. I didn’t take any photos of the markings unfortunately. I should have asked lol. I was calm up until then so they gave me iv fluids because I got lightheaded and had to lay down. I was ok after a few minutes. Went into the operating room, the anesthesiologist hooked me up and gave me an oxygen mask. I was out so quick, Within a minute probably. Then I woke up, drowsy as heck, got dressed and they wheeled me out to my fiancé who was already waiting for me. They gave me a shot for nausea just in case. I slept the whole way home in the back of my suv. I managed to sleep most of the day. Drank a couple of protein drinks through out the day. I didn’t have pain but definitely super sore. The Lipo areas do burn if I touch them or move a certain way. Slept about 2 hours at a time. Went pee sooo many times. Today, Day 1, I felt a whole lot better. Still sore but manageable. My drains aren’t filling up as quickly as the night before so I think that’s a good thing.
