Pre op surgery Before photos

Week 3-4 post op photos

Post op 2-5 weeks

Hello, I know it’s been a bit since I last updated my review. I will write down done key things during my weeks 2-5 post op below and will upload photos labeled with the week post op i was in. I haven’t taken the most due to going back to work and being busy so I will work on taking more to upload on here.

Week 2: I had a JP drain inserted due to too much fluid on my left lower belly area. I only had it for two days because i he to fly back home. The procedure was quick and easy but that JP drain was just annoying. If you’re traveling please request this so you can get as much fluid removed before you travel back home. I kind of wish my surgeon would’ve recommended this since I did travel there..
when i traveled back, i traveled with my BBL pillow (ordered on amazon ($42.00) it was firm and perfect for someone who isn’t very tall (5’1”) flying home consisted of two flights.. sitting was a little scary and not the most comfortable. I kept sweating and freaking out about my fat dying the entire time. Not cool. I was still pretty swollen, but was comfortable enough to walk around and carry my luggage.

Week 3: I had to go back to work... I was so uncomfortable driving again. I didn’t sit the entire time at work and boy were my feet killing me by the end of the day.. I have been rubbing lotion on my abdomen every night before I go to bed and whenever I sleep, I haven’t taken off my garment unless I’m washing it or in the shower. I also ask my husband to give my gentle back rubs since I have yet to get any professional ones yet.. I have been getting random Lower back pain at times. It’s tolerable but annoying. It happens every few hours or so.
I also have more cellulite than before and blah.. not the best to have but I understand it was a possibility when I got the procedure.. now i just have to work it out.

Week 4: overall one month pot op I’m feeling so much better! I sent Dr T and his staff some updated photos and questions regarding exercise. I have been cleared to do a few exercises as long as I am not pushing my body too much. I’m still getting the minor lower back pain at random times but excited I only have two more weeks until I can finally sit and lay on my back!! I’ve been wearing my garment majority of the day as well except when I shower, wash the garment and change out of my work clothes. I get so itchy throughout the day with it on. Swelling has subsided!

Week 5:
One more week til I can sit!! I cannot wait to sit normally in my car and office again. I will continue to stand more but it’s still nice knowing I’m that much closer to being more recovered. I’ve noticed when I don’t wear my garment for more than an hour or so I get bad marks left from my clothes in my tummy.. it looks so bad so I’m always quick to put in my garment to flatten it out again. So please continue to wear it as much as you can and definitely every night. I also finally scheduled an actual massage.

I did go to the gym for the first time as well and it was good! I felt extremely out of shape lol but glad I started to go again.
I did the stair master for 10-15 minutes, kettle bell squats, lunges, donkey kicks and a couple push ups. I was there for maybe an hour and felt good! I plan to continue going to workout to try to tone up my body :)

I’ve been a little emotional just over analyzing everything with my results. I know it’s not healthy and that’s have to be patient because my body is still in the process of recovering. I almost forget I had surgery too. lol

My butt has shrunk a bit but it’s still noticeable in a more natural way. SOME of my jeans/pants I can still fit into but not all. :/ my shirts do fit a lot nicer though.
I’m still very happy with my decision and I believe it was worth it.
